have farm this profile and mesh for 30 hours so far no bird, only 2 blue no other purps yet, am I having bad luck or what?
so i found something about the "we fall into water" problem after repairs/mail/etc it works perfectly going down there to repair... it turns too quickly before attempting to come back up. it walks along the bottom dock until the part where its supposed to make a 180 and move over a few feet right? well it turns about 15 yards too short, then it eventually falls into the water! so it looks like a minor tweak to the mesh should fix it. can someone do that? NOTE: it took me about a day to farm this w/ a L60
update on my farm allllright im now at over 60 hours of farming with this profile and mesh. No bird still no other epics, about 9 blues, no hats. I farm it for 30 more hours and i give up
Did you not read the first 4 pages ??? Its Rare!! Therefore extremely HARD TO GET... I have Farmed for over 100 hours here and only had ONE! ....
I had created a new mesh and was same issue, I think I know how to fix the problem though, remove the vendor and change him to the one at the top beside the bs, then he dont need to go down to the bottom part unless going to the bank, I need to see if I can change it on mine and run it to see how it goes.
Thanks for the profile. If I did my math right, at .0007% drop rate it oughta take roughly 1,430 loots. Obviously it won't be steady..as some will farm far more than that and not get it, others will get it in a shorter period. I'm gonna start running this tonight. I'll probably give it about 3000 loots until I try something else. I'll let ya all know how it goes!
Too bad percentages don't work this way mate, every time you loot a mob that drops the bird there is a 0.0007% chance it drops, you can't estimate in how many drops most people will get it, it's purely based on luck.
I got one... And was putting on the AH when I misclicked and learnt it........ Currently have a GM ticket to try and unlearn it. haha.
LOL So I am botting this parrot right, then like a hour later here comes some dude puts the same exact profile (this one) and starts botting in front of me. So here we are following each other and doing the exact same paths. Come on lol if you see someone botting, don't start your bot at the same place wait ur turn
Hey, Any fix' for this yet? I also tend to fall into the water (mounted). Because i'm using eSafe, HB stops after several tries to get out, but it seems like he doesn't know where to go when he's in the water. I see the vendorname in the file and could change it to some other, but will this fix it? And how do i know what exact coordinates to put in there? Any special plugins you use for this, except LootFilter? Just to be safe he doesn't delete the macaw when going to a vendor and stuff Seems like a popular birdy, since i see a 'party of 2' doing this all day here. They must have a good bot since they do it in a party and don't attack targets i was first on to attack. Is there a way to make our character not attack if target already has a target thats not our character? Cheers
I'm pretty sure HB does this by default.. if someone's already attacking the mob you target it will recognize that and move on to the next.. but if someone is already botting there I wouldn't bot there.. have the curtesy to wait a day or two until their done and then you can have a turn.
How would I disable vendoring with this profile? and also I have a lvl 40 rouge what is a good time to give this profile a shot on him?
Got my 1st Macaw after 2 days... How do you see how many loots it took? Profile isnt perfect enough to let it run all night (doesnt buy ammo, falls in water and logs out, ...) but the route he makes seems nice. Any idea why he doesn't swim to the ships? Seems like there are a whole lot less people goin.
