      I am on a PVE server, thank god, and my bot keeps targeting pets and prowling and following them around. I need to manually switch targets and actually attack. If I do not attack, and just switch targets, it switches right back. This has been happening with all CCs and all questing profiles and with every version of HB as well.

      I use CLU normally, but I was told by a mod that the Singular issue was fixed a while ago and to post a log.

      it should of been fixed a while ago, ill report it again.

      also what kind of pets are you talking about, non-combat pets, hunter pets, critters? actual mob names would be great.

      01:25:04.421 N] [Singular] Casting Pounce on Niuzao Strongarm
      [01:31:22.255 N] [Singular] Casting Pounce on Felguard

      It happens with hunter pets, shammy totems, quest companions and warlock pets. These are the two I logged today that were friendly targets.

      Thanks!

      I just posted a thread about this yesterday too, there are lots of threads on the forum. Tony said he reported it to the devs, hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

      Same problem, just means I need to use CLU, which sucks, as I found Singular better for Questing/PvP

      its good to know singular is finally getting to the point where people prefer it.
      keep checking if the auto updater bugs you then chances are it will contain the fix.

      Wanted to add that it's not just pets. I had the issue with a NPC a few minutes ago.

      While it was trying to accomplish this objective:

      Code:
      <Objective QuestName="Through Fire and Flames" QuestId="13878" Type="UseObject" ObjectId="195001" UseCount="1" />
      It was just keeping attacking this friendly target.

      Code:
      Cleared POI
      [Singular-DEBUG] CurrentTarget set to: Trapped Wolf.59FC h=100.0%, maxh=396, d=35.8 yds, box=1.8, player=False, hostile=False
      Changed POI to:Type: Kill, Name: Trapped Wolf
      Activity: Moving towards Trapped Wolf
      [STUCK] Got stuck at <-10.04063, -3629.087, 32.85962> on map 1

      [STUCK][HITTEST] Left: False
      [STUCK][HITTEST] RD/RU: False

      [STUCK][HITTEST] Behind: False

      I've also seen this behavior yesterday where my hunter was trying to attack ... his own pet !

      Hi, guys,

      As a heads up, if toons are attacking pets and such... we really need to see the full logs.

      There are a couple of areas in which this could be happening. It could be Honorbuddy's fault with the initial target selection, or it could be the fault of an individual CombatRoutine deciding to "choose a better target".

      Only the full log will show the trigger condition, and the set of decisions that let up to the bad target. Just showing us a log fragment that it targeted something incorrectly is not very helpful for solving the problem.

      cheers,
      chinajade

      Oups. My bad. It's around line 5300.
      Quest config :

      Code:
      		<PickUp QuestName="Through Fire and Flames" QuestId="13878" GiverName="Dorak" GiverId="34284" X="65.88799" Y="-3638.403" Z="27.7295" />

      		<Objective QuestName="Through Fire and Flames" QuestId="13878" Type="UseObject" ObjectId="195001" UseCount="1" />
      		<Objective QuestName="Through Fire and Flames" QuestId="13878" Type="UseObject" ObjectId="195003" UseCount="1" />
      		<Objective QuestName="Through Fire and Flames" QuestId="13878" Type="UseObject" ObjectId="195004" UseCount="1" />

      		<TurnIn QuestName="Through Fire and Flames" QuestId="13878" TurnInName="Dorak" TurnInId="34284" X="65.88799" Y="-3638.403" Z="27.7295" />

      Hi again, Ligurt, and thank you for the log!

      Most excellent pinpointing! This looks like a Singular problem. Here's the log entries that indicate such:

      [22:35:47.831 D] Cleared POI - Reason Waiting for loot flag
      [22:35:47.831 D] Cleared POI
      [22:35:48.567 N] [Singular-DEBUG] CurrentTarget set to: Trapped Wolf.4E54 h=100.0%, maxh=396, d=22.5 yds, box=1.8, player=False, hostile=False

      The POI was cleared, and HB had not selected another target for killing (via POI), so something looks amiss in Singular. We also know the version of HB and Singular with this log, and all the other stuff to rebuild the trigger conditions.

      Could I get you to post it to the Singular thread (Bobby53 requires the template in Post #4 over there).

      HOPEFULLY, he can solve this problem for everyone with this information.

      Thanks again!

      Hi, Hobo,

      Please post your log and problem description to the CLU thread. There are several different failure modes that manifest this problem. HBdev and the Community developers will need all the information possible to chase down the problem. The fact that its triggered by various failure modes is disturbing.

      cheers,
      chinajade
