What are you doing with the bot?

I have just been casually playing and only lvl 11. Is there a certain grind spot to look forward too at max 80? Seems like the game makes it easy to sell items. How are you guys gearing up while you level?

 

For me Im only lvl 38.
Using bot to make profiles and test them.
Gearing up using trading post.
Still experimenting with best build for bot. Since what works good by hand, is not good for bot.

I havent done crafting yet.

 

Hey in2. you seem like the most active. Does your gw+buddy eat up alot of cpu?

 

I dont think so. Can give exact numbers when home.

I run 2 D3's along with there bots using ISBoxer.
And GW2 uses more then both them together last I checked.
With GW2 on low settings. Fullscreen windowed.
I have not tried to run 2 GW2's yet. Only have 1 acct so far.

Just testing I had 4 D3's, with GW2, and firefox browser. And was pretty laggy.
But I only have 6gig ram. Going to get more for xmas

I was running 4 d3 vms , with gw2buddy going it went from 40% cpu spiking to 75%-96%. Thats with a 3770k and 32g of ram

 

Im using ISBoxer for my D3's.

This is with all 3 bots going. 2 DemonBuddy's. and GW2Buddy

Anyone using the bot to farm gold? Is it possible to earn money with it? How much g you make a day?

 

Haha, not at the moment, first of all you need a Lvl 80 character to really earn money, then secondly you need good profiles to get the right areas/mobs down... so atm it is not rally possible because the bot it in the beta and Questing isn't workin yet. THe only way atm to grind gold atn is get lvl 80 Char with maxed out magicfind gear, buy omnomberrybars +30% Magic find +40% Gold from monster and grind a high Lvl Profile like Karmagrind 80 or so, sell the items and/or salvage rare 71+ item to get Extos, which can be sold for a good price at the trading post.

I personally just max out one character after another until i have all 8 Classes at lvl 80, save some gold in the progress for converting into Gems and buying 3 more characterslot, upgarded recently my game to deluxe with a couple of hunderts gold saved from the beginning of the game. But the really only way to get good money over time is atm to gamble the trading post

If u have maxed out inventoryslot and maybe 1-2 extra slots like me total of 110 inventory slots maybe, the problem is that at the moment, the bot isn't able to vendor and deposit collectibles properly.
My max per hour was about up to 1 gold per hour, but it depends on the drops and on the luck of getin extos out of the high lvl items. Btw boting a whole night will make u cry, because the droprates drop down be time in the game, so if u grinding 9 Hours a profile u will have after 2 hour nearly zero profit, just sayin' before u spend ur time wastin a whole night

I usally bot for 1-2 Hours per character, babysitting via team-viewer, swaping around the characters and profiles manually. One character at Lvl 80 with Mainstory completed, often played by hand, 2nd Char lvl 40 fully grinded with the Buddy and 3rd character now Lvl 21 fully grind with the Buddy, now i am startin char 4 and 5, max all out cycling all characters and save gold for the missing 3 charaterslots, but this will be very expansive atm average price for 800 Gems about 16 Gold.. 3 Slot needed so 48 Gold quite a time to grind, since i spend many gold for the digital deluxe editon.

 

And is there any karmagrind profile for high lvls available yet?

 

All the high lvl profiles are private that I know of atm.
I dont have 80 yet so havent made any myself.

gw uses 2.5x as much resources as d3, also it's hard to grind

 

Yeah, that maybe but for every challange there is a option to solve it, ran 3 Gw2-Clients (thanx to my guldies which borrowed my their games for a day) on a overclocked Laptop 3,2 Ghz with 8 Gb ram, 128 SSD drive and a 2 gb Raedon card nothing else on this machine, ran very smoothly, have a second none Laptop with a bit better configuration, so it should be possible at least for me to run up to 6 Gw-Clients

Hard to grind depends on the progression of the Buddy, once it realeased and there are maybe, questing, professions & crafting integrated it will be fun to grind
