Ok, this bot work NEARLY perfectly in Pandaria... with a couple caveats...

I am able to AFK this bot 100% for 10+ hours at a time with no hiccups, as long as i have blacklisted East Summer Fields digsite. (today there was a weird exception where it got stuck under the hot air balloon platform in kun lai, but i digress) the main problem with East Summer Fields, is that the bot just isnt surveying while underwater. If i manually press the survey button, it does ok. Sometimes i have to survey in the same spot a few times to make the bot auto move, but no big deal.

The reason this is an issue, is because i am now 100% done with pandaren artifacts, so in order to only do mogu, i blacklisted all the pandaren sites. but the bot has no way to discern between the east summer fields digsite which i NEVER want to go to, and the sites that are "?brownlisted?"... i would rather go to a pandaren site if there are no mogu available other than east summer fields, than go to where the bot will hang up and stall. The bot will go to a blacklisted site if there are no non-blacklisted sites available.

the way i see it, other than checking on the bot all the time, there are 2 possible fixes for this... the best would obviously be to fix it so that east summer fields isnt a nightmare. the other is to make a true blacklist, that the bot just absolutely will not go to for any reason ever, and allow the regular blacklist to function as normal.

 

I tested the Bot but he don?t find any digites.

Then i have a Archolevel 555 an he will go to the ArchoTeacher??? wtf

 

Yeah following up from my earlier comment im not happy with this, still not working. It just randomly stops and AFK's, I had to manually fly it to terrokar forest because it kept looping in between hellfire and terrokar and it doesn't survey underwater as has been pointed out. Really not close to AFKable, which is the whole point as arc is awful.

 

the best way that i have found to make this afkable is to only do pandaria, and blacklist east summer fields. obviously, this means that you should be level 90 and have flying capabilities in pandaria... i have run it for 14 hours completely afk and it works fine...

How to quickly get Vial of the sands with ArcheologyBuddy ?

Hi everyone !

I just started to use ArcheologyBuddy and my toon went quickly to 600.
I now would like to get the Vial of the sands, so my objective is to dig as many Tol'vir sites as possible.
I tried to blacklist some sites of other races, however the bot keeps going to dig in the nearest sites.

Is there any way to set the bot in order to dig the Tol'vir (Uldum) in priority when a site is available there and to dig other races only if no Tol'vir is available ?

What the hell, my guy just solves stuff then stands there and AFK's, when I restart bot he then flies off and continues surveying. Why is he continually AFKING?

Edit: Turned looting off...it now works..wtf.

 

this goes back to my brownlisting idea from earlier... would be nice, but not yet possible...

the workaround for your particular issue here is to stay in pandaria, and turn in the crates for tolvir fragments. probably much faster anyways considering the size of kalimdor (travel time) and the frequency of night elf sites vs tolvir anyways. i have been able to run for many hours on end, to come back and find that i have 80-100 crates ready for me to turn in...

it would probably be doable to make a professionbuddy profile to auto purchase tolvir fragments and solve tolvir artifacts as well.

Your proposal is exactly what I chose to do while waiting for an eventual other option
I had the same idea about the size of the Pandaria, but I also thought about the trash loots and harmony spirits that the bot will sometime get from mobs.

Indeed it would be great to be able to create a profile for AB to make it purchasing the Tol'vir boxes thanks to pandaren artefacts.
Does anyone know how to do this ?

If you don't give anything else than "it doesn't mount", you can be sure that no one will help you...
You should say what's really happening, in which conditions, attach the log with your post and tell what you already tried to do to fix the problem.

I just can't figure it out.

 

Instead of the usual qq and what not, thought I'd like to thank the devs for this. Managed to get every single arch achieve and all vanity items.

 

Which folder? ArcheologyBuddy is already installed in the Honnorbuddy release. You just have to choose "ArcheologyBuddy" in the menu when HonnorBuddy is launched.

 

It would be cool, if we could choose to hold the cap of ~200 while botting.

If reached ~200 AB solves 1 item.... farm again till ~200 and solves.... and so on.

AND:
If you choose don?t solve artifacts, the bot should stop if the cap is reached. My Main tryied to loot hundreds of times 2 days ago.
I know its my fault, but its surely no problem to detect that cap limit is reached

the bot works really good. I've completed all acms before pandaland, but now, in pandaland, the bot dismounts sometimes - while he flies. So the bot dies everytime. Does anyone know how to fix this bug?
(It happens around 1 time per hour)
