I actually found this one kind of amusing. Had left 5 bots running AV 24/7 through the entire CTA weekend, all went from 60-80 and farmed enough honor points for full pvp armor. Now at midnight, one of the accounts get hit with a suspension: Account Name: WOW1 Type of Violation: PvP Arena/Battleground Exploitation Details of Incident: Exploitation of PvP Battlegrounds and the honor system Consequences for Account: Account suspended for 3 hours Greetings, This account has recently been identified as being involved in actions deemed inappropriate for World of Warcraft. happened that when i played without bots, was just watching tv and pressing a few buttons from time to time to avoid the debuff
I think thats some sort of auto ban based on getting deserter a lot, probably for those really basic bots that auto join, and sit in the cave, or run randomly, or autofollow the nearest player. Sometimes the bot doesn't get enough action, and if people report like crazy (there are macros I've used when multiboxing that report the entire raid AFK) eventually you get booted. I've started using Healbot CCs, and the new Kaboomkin has an awesome follow player feature, so its almost always near the action.
