Best method of 85-90 AFK'ed leveling

I've seen some people who believe AV farming 85-90 is the best method.

Grinding, I have 3 grinding profiles, all found on the forums here that are perfect. To make it 100% afk I'd just need a profile switcher , otherwise I just visit my desktop 3 times to switch.

 

Mixed Mode BG/Questing

 

For 100% AFKing
Mixed Mode Grind/BG as it will never ever run into an issue other than bots crashing etc.
Questing 85-90 is a big baby sit, runs into heaps of user input quests or bad mesh.

 

I wont use BGBuddy at all.
Too obvious, that you are a bot.

Stick to grinding - this should work.

 

Grinding is just a bad a Bgbuddy right now anyways.. unless they updated the bot not sure haven't been here in a while.

 

There is no such thing as 100% AFK from level 85 to 90.
Or at any level, for that matter ..

At times, it's so obvious that your toon is being controlled by a bot, that you simply have to reset and reposition it.
For instance, there are numerous mesh issues in Pandaria, like your toon franticly trying to run uphill while it's very obvious that this isn't possible, etc.

You need only one overzealous "teacher's pet" to report that situation and you will be subject to "investigation" by a GM.
Then, at best, you will receive a 72 hrs ban ..

Grinding and BGs? May sound appealing, but that's a bad idea, imo ..
A bot always follows a certain pattern and those two modes make that very obvious.

Also do not bot 24/7 .. that might trigger the "monitor button" with one of the most fanatic (or bored) GMs.

Do you want it to be relatively safe?

I'd say, use Kick's Questing Profile Pack - that one is still the most solid - and start questing while keeping an eye on it - still many mesh issues and manual interruptions needed. That's unavoidable.

Also, always use a plugin that monitors other players following you and situations at which your toon gets stuck.
Configure it in such a way that it will log-off your character after certain conditions have been met.

 

For Questing:

On Jade Forest (ally, never did horde) theres a point that you have to forget HB and do it by hand for some time. Then its smooth (i did stuck in fron of Halfhill Inn with some disconcerning whispers once..) until Krasarang. Then its game over. The navigation can't come up from the rivers, Kun Lai is horrible in half of it and the same can be said for Townlong.

So its baby-sitting baby.

Grinding is scary. BG i won't ever try, its ridiculous. Maybe Arch? Gather? I dunno. I quested on 3 toons, when i had the time to watch them.

 

Did 85-89 with Kick's Questing today (started yesterday eve)
Got stuck around 10-12 times so far, for 4 full levels thats not big ussue.

Did 85-86 in JF, then on 86 switched to WotFW profile, and havent changed since then:

In WotFW I did 1 manual quest and solved 1 stuck. Bot changed to Krasarang Wilds itself as soon as WotFW was done.
1 early manual quest in Krasarang Wilds, then full afk till switched to Kun-lai Summit.
Stucked in the 2nd camp there, several more stucks and few manual quests (spent less than 15min total)
Boss just dinged 89 near the end of the zone.

 

I started my rogue at 85. I found that 1 the questing 85-90 is not that good and my rogue was simply way to squishy. I think I struggled with the questing until about 87... maybe 86, and just grinded in a vermin cave instead

 

Honestly, as mentioned above, there is no "safe" way to go to 90 completely AFK. I will not BG because of how many people are reporting BG bans, and just how badly the BGs are swarmed with bots anyway. It's funny to watch a pack of toons running through a BG making the SAME stops, the SAME turns, the SAME pauses, etc. You can instantly spot who bots BGs, and that's not coming from a botter's perspective.

I will also not grind, either. Grinding to level is blatantly obvious. I don't know anything about Blizzard, or what they keep tally of, but when you see a toon that has done zero dungeons, zero quests, and has made its way up through the ranks of levels, you can think of only two things: 1) The person ia mad, or 2) Bot!

I know it doesn't answer your question, and I'm sorry, but if you really want to level quickly then make either a healer or a tank and dungeon your way up. It's not AFK, but it's far better than getting stuck during quests, and tank queues are almost instant. Heals are not quite instant, but faster than DPS on any given day.

Uhm there is a pretty good grinding profile in Valley of the Four Winds in the bottom left corner. Took me like 30 hours and I was done. Questing is impossible to afk.

If you want to be ultra safe, do archeology and come back in a week.

 

Questing is not at all possible for AFK leveling.

 

I quested from 85-90, I really don't think it's as bad as people make it out to be. Sure, it's not 100% AFK friendly but from my questing I only had to help it along 3-4 times from getting mesh stuck and maybe 10 quests overall.

 

If i have to monitor it for questing all the time i might aswell just do it myself as its so much quicker

 

So you have to babysit it... your not supposed to leave your toon ignored for hours on end. I ran Kick's profiles with very few hiccups, I ran it and watched a movie if I checked and it was stuck or I had a quest issue, I'd just stop the questing, complete the quest on my own, and start it back up, but that maybe happened like 4-5 times. Keep Kick's profiles up to date (via SVN) and you'll notice he's constantly rolling out updates on his quests, and if you find an issue, go to the forum and report it. Easy peasy..

Otherwise, quest by hand and be 100% safe, or grind content/bgs and get risk getting banned lol...

Sure the topic is asking for 100% afk, but smart botters know it's not good to be 100% afk all the time.

 

100% afk only through bgbuddy, otherwise I level questing+bgbuddy while beeing at home watching some movies etc.

 

i dont understand why you wouldnt want to quest?

its a little broke at the moment i understand and requires baby sitting but every toon i have lvled from 85-90 ive made around 10k gold.

 

I use kick quest in jade forest to reach 86lvl, then mix mode grinding yetis in kunlai and custom bgbuddy profile = leveled 7chars like this each in 2 days.

 

How do u get the custom bgbuddy profile =s?
