I have been having issues since the start of this morning of Honorbuddy being stuck at logging in hours. I left it alone trying to log in for 2 hours before I came back and it was still stuck. I just tried again and I am still having the same issues. I have a 10 year membership, so i shouldn't be having any issues authentication wise.

Yes the first thing it says when you load up Honorbuddy "Logging In...". It won't get passed that point.

ok, so first things first do a fresh install of honorbuddy into a new folder. you can grab the latest release here.
      http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewest?filter=Honorbuddy

once thats done if its still not working.

download the file from this thread, and once its downloaded right click it, and click "Run As Administrator" and let it install, once its done restart your machine completely and give it another shot.

if your STILL having issues after that, make sure port 5031 is open on your computers firewall and your home router.

can you log into buddyauth fine?
Home Page - Buddy Auth Portal

once you get in make sure the key your trying to login with is the same one listed. and if there are any active sessions try manually killing them.

it does exist, so maybe theres something going on with your dns cache, try flushing it.

Yup, same since this morning, about 9am CET.

      "Honorbuddy v2.5.6663.523 started."
      "Logging in..."

Then it takes ages for HB to log in.

Then, after the usual "new bot added" lines (it was a fresh install) :

      "Honorbuddy v2.5.6663.523 started!"
"Character is a level 87 Pandaren Monk"
"Current zone is Valley of the Four Winds"
"Please wait a few seconds while Honorbuddy initializes."

Well .. those "few seconds" take ages, and finally, after 10 minutes, I receive the notorious crash windows "Honorbuddy has encountered a problem".
I clicked "Don't Send" (report) and HB stops.

      This is repeatable.

I used a clean install from the ZIP (523), no extra bots, plugins or routines.

Check the timestamps in the log .. can't be normal.

its not the "same here" because the OP's issue is nothing like your issue.

you can fix your issue by changing wow from DX11 to DX9 mode, in your graphics settings. next time please make your own thread instead of piggybacking off someone elses.

So sorry - honestly thought it was the same issue.
Why else would I reply to this thread.

But thanks for your quick response.

Since when did HB stop supporting DX11?
