What are the differences between LazyRaider and Raidbot? I've been reading the forums and trying to make sense of different plugins etc for a few weeks now, but I'm not quite sure how LazyRaider and Raidbot differ. The more technical the answer the better. Thanks in advance.
Hi Dorin85, LazyRaider is basically for lazy raiders. LazyRaider does healing, dps, and tanking but the user does the movement. RaidBot controls both movement and actions, using your CC.
So basically their is no difference? What causes people to choose one over the other? Does one do better dps, or easier to use/setup?
both BotBases do basicly NOTHING - no healing - no movement - no targeting - no tanking both of them are used to, when u decide u want to control the movement and the combat routine does the work for ya LazyRaider has some additions over RaidBot - LazyRaider can disable Plugin Pulsing which aren't needed when u control the movement (such as plugins that do avoid bad zones, plugins that do other stuff not related to the stuff u r doin atm (like raiding), to safe performance) - LazyRaider CAN follow the tank when u set it up (and when u are not in combat), RaidBot can't do that - LazyRaiders "speed" can be set up, where RaidBots speed is hard coded, not changeable - in LazyRaider u can disable frame locking when your combat routine does not support it, raidbot can't do that - LazyRaider has configurable Hotkeys for pausing (in the version i'm currently using, dunno if this is an official one), Raidbot has a hotkey but is not configurable So long story short: RaidBot, LazyRaider, Tyrael, CombatBot they all do basicly the same, the default ones (RaidBot / Combat bot) have minor possibilities to configure, where the Community Editions (LazyRaider, Tyrael) are more configurable but all 4 of them do basicly the same - NOTHING, they give u only the ability to execute a Combat Routine and control the movement by yourself
