Hi! I have a DK tank i use BD to cap my valor, and it worked rly good. last friday when i started it up as normal, it starded up ok and signed up for a heroic, but when it enterd it did not do anything just stood there til he got kicked or left himself. I have reinstalled HB to see if it helped but when i tested it again today it signes up and enters heroics, but just stands there. I use singular cc.
Summary: Fresh installation. Monkey Business. Class: Rogue CustomClass: Singular-revised version Role: DPS Queue Type: Random Queue Party Mode: Off Dungeon: Brewery Ongoing monkey problem. When it's adding up the 40 monkeys and they flee the room the bot chases them out and gets locked out of the encounter making it look very botlike, or getting kicked.
Additionally - Summary: Fresh installation. Staircase - Master Snowdrift. Class: Rogue CustomClass: Singular-revised version Role: DPS Queue Type: Random Queue Party Mode: Off Dungeon: Shando-Pan Monastery Bot gets stuck on splitting staircase leading up to Master Snowdrift. Spins, sticks and gets locked out of encounter usually leading to being kicked or suspected as a bot.
Running a full 5 man level 19 xp-locked bot team. Wailing Caverns - talks to Muyoh to start the escort event before killing all bosses. Ran tank with tyrael, all others DB to kill all bosses then restarted DB on tank. Escort quest went fine from there, it just needs to go through the bosses first. Logic problem?
Same 5 bot xp-locked team doing Shadowfang Keep. Tank felt the need to run out of the dining hall back to the kitchens to kill a black rat for some reason, leaving the rest of the group behind ? targeting issue with combat routine (Singular - log attached). Also runs into gate after Lord Walden rather than waiting and then proceeds to bodypull right up to the door to Lord Godfrey. Given the healer seems to be having an epileptic fit in several places ? mesh or combat routine (ShamWOW - log also attached) this caused a wipe. Bots re-entered instance and then stood around in entrance doing nothing.

Wise Mari (1st boss) and AoE Class: Rogue CustomClass: Singular-revised version Role: DPS Queue Type: Random Queue Party Mode: Off Dungeon: Jade Temple 1st boss - Bot attempts to kill the bubbled first boss (which causes knock back) over and over again until it dies. In the halls leading up to the boss the elementals put a water aoe on the floor that kills those who stand in it. The bot stands in it with no avoidance, this aoe is also present in the first boss encounter. After the boss dies, the bot runs into the wall behind the boss until it gets kicked, dies or logs out. 2nd boss - On Strife and Peril, the bot does not attack the boss. It stands close but never targets the boss. 3rd boss - Liu Flameheart, bot stands in the Jade Fire AoE as well as the AoE damage (shadow) mobs before the boss and mobs after the boss until it dies. 4th boss - Seems to be okay, bot has a difficult time targeting the shades during the phase of the encounter. Melee runs around the room mindlessly before attempting to return to the boss.
Restarted DB in that same Shadowfang Keep instance. Tank correctly pulls that last room this time, kills the two Pustulant Monstrosity mobs in Lord Godfrey's room AND THEN runs all the way back to Lord Walden's gate before heading back upstairs and engaging Lord Godfrey. Serious logic issues here.
Funny stuff.. logged on my 85 ally mage qued for dungeon boom runs fawless and horde simply dont work xD
Thanks that's what I figured. Is this better than lazy raider? Or is this automatic where lazy raider you just move yourself around?
The bot always get kicked from dungeons because he pulls more mobs or he gets stucked and etc... and in Scarlet monastery for examaple he keeps atacking that doog wich is in chains and tank always skip it , Any suggestions?
Set up your hotkeys for "combat" "aoe combat" and "movement" At the dog area, disable combat and movement from the hotkeys, cross that area manually, then enable them again. I'm pretty sure the bot isn't meant for 100%afk use in random parties.
Public service announcement: Don't risk this in a random party as a Tank. Very reckless, you will get kicked and asking for a ban. Too many issues related to the bot and/or human nature (all discussed in this thread). I only tank a full 5 man bot group, or with friends I trust. If you want to tank easy, go lazy raider. If you are healing or DPS and you don't have any telling issues with a cr or settings (stutter step casting-movement for example) you can probably DPS or heal in a random group fine - because mostly those classes just follow the tank and target assist. Still I don't recommend going AFK. Many times the bot fails to move when it should during a fight or gets stuck on things. This DB is really handy ATM for farming lower level instances you out level or out gear. Go in solo and no worries about glitches or being spotted.
Thanks for the info. I used to leave this running afk all the time guess I"ll think otherwise from now on.
