I'd like to be able to confirm those bugs, but I can't. I can't reproduce them at all. As for "findhighest" it seems someone broke it in the newest release of HB. Edit; "findhighest" works fine for me. It's only valid on hotspots, so could you confirm that it's being used in other elements?
I still get an error when trying to save.. Saw others had the problem too.. Just tried and downloaded it once again. Still gets the same error. Is there any fix for this?
the findhighest element dosent work for me. it will simple run to the the area around the first hotspot, and stand still.
Whenever I start it, it instantly shows up a 'Stopped working' message in Windows, it's at 0% loaded. Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. Edit: This was a user error, I never saw that I had to get the XNA framework. Must be tired.
Just wanted to say THANK YOU Apoc! While I've had a few troubles and bugs here and there... I've created several kick ass profiles very easily with this. It's very easy to use and way better than running around clicking "My Position" in HB. So.... THANKS!
Hi Apoc, Im terrible at creating profile's only good at fixing broken one's, i was wondering if it was possible to add mob location's and what level they are, it would make profile's a hell of alot easier for me and other people in the community? all people would need to do is add hotspot's were they want to grind in a area of a mob that level ranges 1-3 and it's done. PS. Im real new a creating a profile and that would be a big advantage and a steeping stone for me for making better profile's
That's the idea for the next version of the editor. I'm rewriting it from scratch, to hopefully make it easier to extend (so I can keep up with the dev team on the XML schema). Also, I'll be using a 'shared' database, so I can store as much info as I want. Instead of being limited by the download sizes.
Thx !! sound's amazing will this new release be a future project like GB becomming a plugin for HB or is it already in the work's with a set date for it's release? i think i might hold off profile creating till this new release get's put into a beta stage since it sound's very appealing to profile creator's
One thing I've learned in my years of developing... never give release dates unless you know for a fact you'll be releasing on that day. Thusly; no, I don't have a 'release date' for you. Lets just say Soon(TM)
Ahh i fully understand were your comming from, please keep this thread updated with the new feature's and big improvement's that your new profile creator will be bringing us
Apoc - on payday I'll be buying you a beer... One suggestion (a pointer in the right direction of how to go about doing it would be great!) - is it possible to add herb and mine spawn points to the map? Perhaps import it from GatherMate or GathererDB stuff from WoWHead? I don't know enough about it to know if the co-ords are the same or whatever, but that would be feckin' shweet if that was possible... Good job, I'm loving it
In all seriousness, tho... Nothing pulls up for me under the tools menu. I click Tools, then I have the three options there... Clicking on any of them doesn't actually do anything. Everything else seems to work fine, tho.
Nodes spawn in set places, just not every place at one time. If we could have every possible spawn point on the map we could make sure to stick hotspots near each one. On another note, I can't seem to save profiles. Get a random compiler error. Got all prereqs installed I'll post the error tomorrow, heading to bed now.
Well from the post on the release of 1.9.5.5 they mention that Apoc is working on an updated version that handles the new quest processing. So I would assume that we'll have to wait for that version before we get anything more out of him. =)
We could cheat a little and use an emu-db here. This is also being used to reduce the amount of things that you need to put into a profile.
You dont need to use emu-db, even Gatheremate( an wow addon ) has the spawn points of every single herb and vein. http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/SearchResults.aspx?q=gathermate Gathermate is the addon by itself, and then you import the Gathermate_data which countains the nodes.
