[Bot] (Beta) DungeonBuddy - A Dungeon bot.

If I set optional bosses to true in BRC (cata) the team will kill Beauty, else they skip it. I am stock, no custom here (I wish I had the time to learn).

hy, just tried after an while to run DB but i?m getting big problems with only one of my char. Log says:

But with another char the bot is working fine in any dungeon. Problem exists in MoP Heroic Dungeons. In any of them.
My Char just stands at the start and is not doing anything.
Hope somebody can help me.
Tried already following:
- new clear installation
- deleted mesh files
- deactivated all plugins
- deactivated all wow addons

 

We're talking Classic level dungeons. In particular the first four which is all I can do with an XP capped level 19 team. The scripting for those is still for the pre-Cataclysm dungeons, not the remade ones.

 

So I decided to test Dungeon Buddy out and it seems to be working pretty well. Only question I have is .. Is there a way for it to have you roll on the loot drops based on your toon?

Yes, if you configure AutoEquip2 (one of the standard plugins that ships with HB) it will roll on loot based on those parameters. Only part that is a bit tricky is if you have a caster and want to use onehander + offhand.

 

SUch a bullshit addon. Just sold ALL MY FUCKING PVP GEAR to the vendor, so hopefully ill get it back via ticket, otherwise theres lots and lots and lots of work gone. FUcking shit botbase.

always take a look to the profile what kind of things it should sell and for sure check if he cleans your questlog too but thats no dungeon buddy problem so wrong thread....

 

I give in. This botbase has broken my will to live. I must spend my every waking moment helping to get this working.
To that end, I will level my team of bots in xp-capped stages until I have every dungeon afkable or as damned close as I can make it.

Ragefire Chasm is on it's tenth run with no issues. Will keep it running while I have a look through Deadmines.

 

Wish I could Help you out but I don't have the first clue about how to even start fixing this, And nor do I have any clue how to write code/profiles unfortunately

 

Then help out the way everyone is asked to. Test any profiles, note what goes wrong and supply logs.
Here's my Ragefire Chasm profiles. Unzip to HB base directory. Make sure you turn the Autoupdate option in Dungeonbuddy to false.

 

I'll get a new team to 15 and give it ago.

 

It seems to prioritize quests over everything else.. like I will be fighting a group and then it will see the quest item in the distance and run over there.. pulling bosses and everything in its path. Is there anyway to just disable quests for now ?

edit: was in the Scarlet Monastery MoP one ... a little bit through it after the first boss, we walked into the room with the big pool and tons of mobs spread out everywhere. For some reason my character just ran through THEM ALL. like wtf? :O Before the tank even did anything.

 

Looks like Deadmines is a bust without a mesh. Might have figured out the Wailing Caverns though. Give me an hour or so to test.

you can use the "item recovery" tool on the wow web page.
aslong as you do it within 30 days, you should be fine.

 

The working Dungeons list has been archived are you able to make a new thread of working instances?

 

Ran fine with all ranged dps, not sure why they went up the hill at the end, Also tank left the party instead of rejoining for more runs.

 

Sounds like you still have the Hb supplied ones. You need to disable auto update in the bot options on ALL bots. Then copy over my profiles.

 

Serious issues with downloading the mesh for Deadmines. That dungeon is unworkable at the moment. According to Natfoth it's a Deadmines scripting issue.

As I've posted there, I'll try to make a profile with another botbase to force a download but for the moment I need sleep.

 

Same thing happened in storm stout brewery first time I was in there. Team picked up the quests. At first my reaction was "awesome!" Which soon turned to "oh hell no!". Talk about monkey fucked...appropriate, because ya know...The place is full of monkeys...
