EU so blizzard have banned my oringinal wow account which i have had for 8 years (yes i know the risks, that's not why im reporting this). I tried to appeal several times, no joy, the latest reply i got about 1 hour ago was this - this is why im posting - This is the latest response from Customer Support: Hello xxxx, Thank you for your reply. Just to clear things up, we have verified that you have been using a third party program for the second time. That is why we had to place a permanent suspension on your account. It is ok to play on more than one account or to multi box. But only if this is done without any third party means. Since we have reviewed your account multiple times and verified that the action taken against your account was correct and there was no mistake on our side the ban will not be removed. Regards, ok so my question is, how the hell can they tell ????? and why didnt they bann all 3??? is it possible that blizzard have infiltrated the forum and are now creating routines with small identifiables? i laughed about the multibox part, you cant do it with some sort of 3rd party program .. im gonna write to their legal department and ask for all information held against my name, its the law in my country. comments/thought welcome DJ
By infiltrated you mean : "sign up as a normal user like anyone can"? If so, then yes, they probably have several accounts here, like they do on ownedcore. Best to not post anything about your character publicly anyway.
Usually the "verified" explanation, they use in the reply means a GM have witnessed your botting one or several times, confirming the reports they have received off other players. And yes, its been discussed alot of times here on the forum, that the most common ban trigger is player reports, not "infiltrating" and similar scenarios.
sorry for the delay , i have been at work . im going to write to them and ask for all data held against my name which is the law. I have been provided the address by the GM.
Under that law a private company can charge you to carry out that request, if you actually paid for that information you would only get what you've got now and they wouldn't give you those details about how you got banned, just that you're banned.
