MultiZone - The Ultimate Mining/Herb Profile

This profile works perfectly on my laptop, but on my main computer it seems to just switch between Farmer and Banker account constantly for some reason. I even compared settings to the laptop and both computer and laptop settings are the same.

Any ideas?

 

it's one of the weird PB bugs, i had it happen for a while and it no longer does it, only suggestion i have to to try a fresh install with a fresh PB, don't copy and paste it.

 

I found a fix for the bug, for some reason it did not like me using 36 slot mining bags, i had to change to the 26 slot illusionary bag, and now it works fine, i find this rather puzzling.

 

that actually makes sense, i noticed the problem is that when mailing items it would sometimes mail all but one, it would then realize this and try to mail it again, but it wouldn't still mail that one item, i'm not sure how highvolts made PB but maybe bag slots makes a difference.

i am new to HB and i tried to run this. I have the problem that the bot is only flying around without collecting anything. Do you have a hint how i can fix this issue?

Select Bot Config, while Professiobuddy is a selected botbase, make sure on the top right Gatherbuddy2 is the secondary botbase, select Settings next to it, then the Gather tab, then make sure mining and/or herbalism is selected.

If that doesn't work and your trying to use Pandaria i've been told that some people have trouble with PB flying profiles when they haven't bought full 310 flying.

 

For some strange reason, this profile is listing Golden Lotus for 6g each, even though competition is at 36g. Any ideas? Everything else is fine, just seems to be Golden Lotus.

 

that's because it sells items based on category, i personally mail all golden lotuses to my alt, but if you want to sell them you have to add golden lostus seperatley through ID, i haven't done this because people preffer to do different things with them, but perhaps i will make different versions of the profile that will give an option, for now what you can do is load the profile go to the profile tab, select the + sign next to Sub SellOnAH, select action tab on the left, then select sell item To AH, drag it over to the profile tab underneath the Sub SellOnAH, select what you just dragged over, change auction Duration to 12 hours, change the max buy and minimum buy to what you see fit, change Use Category to False, then paste this number into the Item Entries field"72238". and there you go. Give me some time and i will add that to the profile if you don't wish to do it yourself.

1.6 Added Golden Lotus, Living Steel, and Trillium Bars as separate IDs to the AH subroutine so that they are sold for a more reasonable price.

i haven't had that issue before, try a fresh install and let us know how it goes.

well instead of using multiple profiles (1 profile for each farming zone), i downloaded a multi-zone single profile. though the problem with your profile is that it doesn't seem to switch to other zones after it has farmed 1 zone and sent its mats to the banker alt. then the bot will stop by itself... how can i correct that?

The profile is a continuation of highvolts original multiprofile, it's made specifically to farm in an area after using the portal in that area, in order to do what you want, i would have to rewrite the profile from scratch. Is it possible, yes, but at the moment i don't really want to do that. Maybe sometime in the future if i were to get really bored.

Edit: Maybe i misunderstood you, are you saying that is just isn't switching to areas that you have selected true? First make sure SwitchToBanker is set to true and with the last view updates of the PB bot the RandomZones options isn't working, we'll have to wait til they fix that bot-side so i would select False for that. Then just make sure each zone u want to farm is set to true and that your banker and farmer name fields are filled in.

 

thanks for your answer. then if for instance i want to farm in 4 zones from pandaria, i should get 4 different profiles, 1 profile for 1 zone?

 

Yes with this profile your only option would be to get four different profiles, or do what i do and combine your four favorite profile from Pandaria into one big one. I am at the moment working on a PB profile made just for Pandaria, however it's more of a personal profile, but perhaps i can look into changing to farm each zone of Pandaria, but if i did it would be a while, i would like this profile working its best first.

EDIT: actually the more i think of it the more ideas i get, like having a true false for each zone to farm, it would be possible. We'll see if i get bored enough.

i have made a fresh install as soon as i encountered the problem no change no other plugins or what so ever everything is clean.. bot just stops in character selection screen.. ive tried with different chars no sucess.. im positive all settings are correct since i used highvolts during cataclysm and it was awesome.. to bad guess i have to wait for this beauty

 

I just finished a test where i downloaded a fresh HB and PB install and this profile from this first post, I set all zones to false except 2. My bot farmed on my farmer for the allotted time, switched to the banker, sold items on the ah, switched back to the farmer and the farmer went through the portal of the second zone. I'm not for sure why you can't get it to work, it works both on my normal bot and the one i just did a fresh install with, i also haven't had anyone else say that they can't switch characters. Are you sure you spelled your bankers name correctly including capitalizing the first letter?

got 9 bots running now - cant reproduce the error the user above me got.
