We have come along way since the new nav was introduced to HB. Since then its been degrading slowly and it would seem that either no one cares or I am the only one its happening too. For a month I have been running a ground mount profile with little problem. Since I started it though I have seen things start to go wrong. It will get stuck in place, it will climb a mountain endlessly, it will dismount remount and repeat. I could go on. So what pissed me off the most today is when I woke up and found that for nearly 4 hours my bot stood in place jumping, dismounting, remounting, etc. In the same spot. Its made hundreds of circle runs but suddenly it quits working. I get a shit ton of these for no reason. [10:03:20.5232] [Navigator] Could not generate path from {X:-7186.242 Y:-2236.068 Z:288.9766} to {X:-7172.119 Y:-2231.945 Z:298.4415}! And its just random. It will do it for 30 seconds, then correct itself. Or it will do it for 4 hours and never correct itself. Its never in the same spot twice and its not a CC issue. I am seriously sick of this. I dont know how many people walked by and reported me for jumping around like an idiot but either the nav needs to be improved or HB needs to have some safeguards aganst this sorta thing. Like a timeout. Dont make 25 fuckin attempts to get free from the exact same spot. If it couldnt do it the first 10 then chances are it wont be able too at all. If it cant generate a path after 1 minute then maybe make a new path? You cant tell me it can only generate one single path to a point. How about using another point? This is really getting stupid and I know im not the only one. I see it happen on all of my bots. Fix this.
I'm experiencing this as well. Though lately I have been making profiles so most of my botting is attended. Currently I would not feel comfortable running the bot afk for any substantial time.
This has been happening to me as well. I wanted to run a test while I was on vaction for 7 days to see how high of a level it would get in 7 days of botting but that doesn't look like it's going to happen with this going on.
Try clearing out your meshes folder. It's likely that you got a corrupted mesh. (Yes, it's happened to me a few times as well. Unfortunately, there isn't a whole lot you can do, especially since the files are streamed from a server)
I run into the same problem. Yesterday morning I woke up to find something very similar. Also just today a guildy was telling me about how his guy was jumping up and down against a cliff, said he had very few kills so he was prob doing it for at least 7 hours.
Yeah not sure what we can do to help fix this. Im currently watching my guy runhimself into the boat at dustwallow. There has got to be a way to detect water ;p my guys getting confused and keeps trying to mount and move. Waiting for him to drown, but its still just doing the can't generate a path stuff.
I'll back this as well. I've come back to my PC numerous times after leaving it on at length (10 hours while at work) to find my character running in circles, mounting and dismounting or running against a cliff numerous times.
Have had a few issues similar to those described here, and although it's not exactly a great "fix", is it really that hard to blackspot the area it's getting stuck in? Works fine for me until the HB team get a fix out
If the meshdownload is interrupted, the current download gets corrupted. I have had that message a few times (while downloading I stopped the bot). Most of the time the next time I started the bot, it redownloaded the corrupted mesh again and the problem corrected itself.
The download can 'complete' however, it can contain corrupted data. (A few bytes being misaligned, or backwards) It's near impossible to tell when that sort of corruption occurs.
