Ok so I've been giving a lot of thought and doing a lot of testing with what works best for steady levelling in WoD due to lack of profiles (I know people are working hard on them, and props to them). I've been playing my "main" account" by hand, but I want something that runs reasonably safely in the background (just a glance every couple of minutes) to run on my alt account to at least keep getting some XP.

This is particularly tricky for Horde chars, given that Kick is focusing on Alliance initially, but there are some alternatives, particularly if your character is "fresh".

      My advice is as follows:

Do the Tanaan jungle scripts Horde and Alliance are both available now, Horde is here https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honor...tanaan-intro-garrison-edited-kicks-horde.html at the time of writing the pathing is bit buggy when you get to garrisons, but you can figure it out). If you have a bit of rested this will get you to around 75% to 91. This will get you some decent gear so you can move onto the next step. The options now if you wanna bot it (for horde) are either grind,or something else.

Well for me the something else has actually been going back to MoP.

If the char is fresh, i.e. hasn't completed a load of quests already, load up Kick's Townlong Steppes and then Dread Wastes profiles. The XP from mobs is now terrible, but the quest XP is still healthy, ranging from around 9k to 14k per quest at L90, then steadily tailing off after this. At least these profiles are tried and tested, and the zones are quiet, so you can just let them run, checking for quest chain stucks every few minutes, (yes there are still a few).

If you've already done all this, just load up Brodieman's dailies, set all to on, and let the bot run the whole lot (you'll need to do starter quests for Isle of Thunder if you want this done as well I think). Doing the whole lot takes around 1.5 to 2hrs, but again, it's steady XP. My druid got 75% of a level at L92 doing this.

My plan is to do the above for my alliance alts, as well as horde. Then for the Ally, I can pick up what exists of already developed scripts and hopefully squeeze out at least L98 from them.

Hope someone finds this helpful. Post your thoughts and alternatives here.

For reference, my 94 DK is at 50% XP into 95 after 2h 11mins in Dread Wastes, including about 10 mins where the bot stopped cos it didn't know what to do, so expect around 4h20 for the level at that rate. The bonus is that mob XP is so low, that you maintain the rested for when you do go back to WoD areas.
