So move on. Once again, get an idea of what's being discussed before you tell others what to do.

+1 well said. its very sad they just want to bring HB down and fill the forum with negativity! i wish the mods would be more stricter with people like that

I believe the HB team realizes that they themselves aren't perfect, unlike some of the users believe them to be. They allow discussions like this because hopefully it will help them in the long run.

Your blind devotion to HB does nothing but make your arguments weak.

I love HB for what it is, but if you think for one second that HB does nothing wrong and they're the best at everything related to botting, you really should open your eyes.

This is not an attack on HB. This is a intellectual discussion (kudos ryftobuddy) on things that actually matters. It seems like you are not familiar with all the details and issues that has been outlined in detail. To succeed HB gonna have to do more and work harder.

Your blind faith has made you exactly that...Blind.

What exactly has Bossland done to give you such faith? It can't be the banwaves that are happening every 5-6 months. It can't be his team admitting they have next to no idea how Blizz is catching them, and have said the same thing after every banwave. It can't be the fact his excuse for being detected this time, as well as their supposed fix, is so thin and so weak that anyone with half a brain can see right through it. It can't be the fact that never in the history of HB has Bossland or his staff ever said that you can bot and avoid being banned.

So again, I ask you, what has Bossland done to deserve such faith from you?

The bot is detected. Hands down. It has nothing to do with brains, faith or any logic. It has to do with facts. HB is in "suck" mode at the moment and until the devs wake up to the simple reality that 32Bit clients are a thing of the past going forward and actually get out of 2006 and get into 2016... we will continue to see bans upon bans upon bans! It's so simple to see. HB sucks right now. No faith, no logic, no brains, nothing claimed. Its a fact.

I mean if you want to put logic into @ryftobuddy...

Let's think about how many players actually play with 32 Bit clients #1.

Then let's think about how simple that is to detect in itself.

When blizzard scans your hardware to read what type of computer, OS, etc... and you're all 64-Bit on just about everything you run... then that's it.

If I was a simpleton like Blizzard is... I would look for people who spend uber amounts of time loading directx 9 or 11 with a 32 Bit client.

Then I'd log it over the course of a few months.

See the dev's could make a 64 bit client and test it, I bet they get a lot less bans! :)

But that takes work and the dev teams don't want to put it in.

Oh and when you extend a locked API and it's size is different but its checksums are the same...
      That's a big one!!!

You do know LUA unlockers are already very much traceable by blizzard right ? They just have no desire to do anything about it because 80% of the community is using them...

Why don't you make your own CR if you think the devs are so crap ?.. or is it that you have no idea how to ?..

you have no idea what you are talking about haha. the source code for photoshop has been around since 1988 they dont rewrite it for every new version you add stuff to it

you also have no clue about how they inject stuff LOL, you should be banned for such a stupid comment.

64 bit has nothing to do with bans, moving to 64 bit gives you ZERO extra security. its a meme that has been disproved so many times

So a couple things here: comparing a AAA title like photoshop to a small bot is not really something you can merit. When Adobe moved it's entire product like to the new interface there was a major backend overhaul (as documented by Adobe), so yes there are rewrites involved in software due to aging / revisions / progression / etc.

The 64bit statement: I have to call you out on this one for the simple fact of it has not be disproven. At the code level yes it very much will increase security and how injection / detection side steps work this has been proven multiple times especially in the elite discussion threads on owned.

Is the Owneth and hackitbaby users fully correct ? of course not, but spamming a troll with more trolling doesn't accomplish anything other than drama.

What on earth are you even going about while responding to me? Did you even actually read a word that I wrote or did you just decide to find someone's post in this thread to quote while ranting about something you know nothing about...

Did you actually read HB's latest excuse for the last banwave? If it's true and you actually understand what it means, do you think being on x64 would solve anything?

Blizzard is a simpleton? Really? Every single banwave it's the same. They figure out some way to catch and ban users and the HB team can't figure out why. Does that sound like the work of simpletons? It sounds like the opposite to me.

The only time you ever come to these forums, Owneth, is after a banwave rolls out and you think that spewing your continued nonsense about how the bot needs to be x64 to keep us safe. You've been doing it since the first banwave. You really should learn a new argument that's actually valid.

This is dead wrong. The HB team has even said that the only difference between x64 and x86 is the library that the bot calls its commands from.

There's nothing inherently more secure with x64. If I understand it correctly, you don't change how the bot injects into wow by updating the code. And once it is injected, the same markers that blizz may be detecting are still there.

and HB had a rewrite as well when it moved to version 2, right now there is no need for a rewrite this is just total ignorance and you are basically excluded from the debate immediately for making such a stupid comment

ROFL such bullshit, post your evidence that 64 bit makes a bot harder to detect? the HB developers themselves have said it makes no difference. its ironic that if HB did move to 64 bit all these crappy other bots would probably start getting more banwaves because they dont have the tripwire :D

those users are not even partially correct, they are just uninformed ragers that turn up every few months to spew their lies and misinformation

you make me sick tbh - everything you say is a quote from bossland in a hrash form but did you ever think about the fact they dont tell the truth or not the entire thruth ? Its a fact that they dont tell us the whole truth - its for a reason and its absolutly ok and they dont hide this fact, but you bring up arguments like a 6 year old calling other users idiots with no idea.

I have coded many years for hacks in other games (mostly counterstrike) and i know how hacks and bots work and how they are coded (not in detail ofc but i know the structur and thats what i am talking about).
I dont blame Bossland for the fact they didnt recode the whole project till now.
They dont had to till mid wod when the banwaves started and hb got *****ed.
Blizzard didnt do anything against hackers and so bossland had nothing to improve but the time has come and they need to get up to date with the bot.
Its hard work and needs time (very much time tbh). They cant release a new version of hb in just like 2 weeks - they will need month for that but i think its worth it and the user would come back after all the other bots got their banwaves too and that will happen.

Bossland sayed its a cat and mouse game and thats absolutly right (every hack/bot provider has the same fight), but for now its a cat on rollerblades against a mouse with 1 leg only and that makes me sad, cause they can do much better. They do have good coders and they do have the skills to make it work - they showed us many times but they have to make it otherwise hb will die and many users (including me) will be very sad.

      //EDIT//
btw the 64bit discussion is exactly what i was talking about - they would have to recode the whole product to make it work for 64bit user. Ofc they tell you their will be no improvement and they are right. 64bit is not safer then 32bit but thats not the entire truth cause recode would be needed for the 64bit and that would make it much more safe - so think about that - they tell you no lies but the dont tell you the entire truth - just think about that for a little while

Ok, disagree with me all you want. Provide some evidence (and I mean real evidence) that x64 will make HB as a bot more secure and I'll change my mind...Don't come back with some info how 64-bit encryption is so much more secure. HB doesn't use any type of encryption with it's injection, so that argument is moot.

I'm not sure how or why you are so upset with someone or something in this thread, but I'm sorry you are. It's much easier to just disagree and move on, than to argue over things. I'm happy to provide a valid discussion with someone but in a calm manor. Let's not go overboard here with a heated argument that can easily be moved on from.

i swear we need statements posted 5 times every time something happens

      • 64bit capability changes nothing (just look at "other" bots that have been 64x and have been caught in banwaves (which were huge))
      • if you botted on an account, you knew the risk
      • if you get mad at bossland, you are only proving to yourself and everyone else that you can't accept blame
      • bossland did and are doing everything they can to ensure security is at its highest
      • if you don't believe the previous statement, you are welcome to make your own bot
      • if you botted on an account, you knew the risk
      • if you botted on an account, you knew the risk
