Banwave 10-11-2016 Discussion

2 accounts lost, one only 24 hours old, one a few years old, both botted heavily doing WQ and non-afk dungeons for CR usage. 6 months each.

Still have my completely clean Main account.

Everyone that bots should know the risks involved. You play with fire, eventually you're going to get burned.

Won't know for a few days, if at all. They also may choose not to release that information if it will lead to further detection by showing their hand. Suffice to say it was a hard detection of some kind. With the frequent patching as of late, I wouldn't be surprised if it had something to do with it.

 

Is the Banwave still going or are they through? My last E-Mail was at 04:00 cet and got hope for at least 1 acc

 

I think they'd be done by now. I got both of mine within around 15 minutes of each other, several hours ago. Don't know for sure though.

 

Lost 3 accounts, 2 bots and 1 main.

What i noticed is that after 7.1 i had in my mail recovered items like herbs and ores. Never happened in years of botting. Can be this a kind of "detection method" from blizzard?

 

Lost Account that is 11 years old. Have not botted previously. Used on average 3 times per week over past month and a bit. Leveling 1 - 110 questing, Bg's. Appears to be detection of HB software.

 

Likely not, since that's possible to do while just playing normally if you leave herbs/ores on bodies. I've done it a few times by accident.
