Windwalker MONK Singular CR (modded for 6.0.2)

So as a addicted WW Monk most combat routines in the forums don't really work well. A lot of people have been asking dev to update their CR's but as you all know they are doing what they can, we really have to be patient.

I on the other hand needed a working combat routine so I got in to the monk singular cr and changed some stuff, now at least it wont spam stuff we dont have and i must say it works pretty decent.


Just copy both files to "../Routines/Singular/ClassSpecific/Monk" directory and your done.
At least for the time being

Works best with Enyo (ENYO and Raidbot didn't workout to good). And turn off Grapple Weapon in HB controls.


Have fun with it and hope its able to help some of you ease the pain while we wait for the pro's to get their CR done

Your CR is currently out performing the standard Singular. Though I'm no expert (I'm a Brewmaster, attempting to WindWalk in Mythic BM gear) I very much appreciate your efforts and generosity sharing what you've done.

Keep in mind that the people from singular are the ones that need the biggest credit I just modified it a bit so it suits my needs to play my monk

I will have try and look at different CR classes and see if I can modify them to work as well... this will only be a temp solution until all the CR devs get there routines working again

Just did some testing with the new hb .750 build but I get the feeling that my modified singular monk still runs better then the new build incl. singular monk cr. Let me know what ur thought are peeps, maybe its just me

 

testing now. will update in an hour or so. going to run it with a farming profile and see how well it does. test on target dummy first and seems to do good DPS. pulled 5.5k average after 1 min of combat. im in 552 gear and im still not exactly sure what im supposed to be doing. but without HB i pull close to 5k average on a boss fight so this seems good.

 

Made a few changes to make it less bot like and more dps. Removed auto buffs, cc's, use of defensives, ect. Examples are you control when to use TB stacks, Xuen, ect. Made Chi Wave and Fists of Fury be used on cooldown for increase dps. Hope you like it. Let me know what you think and how we can make it better. Enjoy!

Although it a nice edition after testing it I will rather stay with my modified version seeing I do pvp aswell, I like the fact that it cc's even off target. As goes for auto buffs we only have one, which doesnt buff if there's no need for it. TB stacks are doing just fine, Chi Wave can still be weaved in manually so no need to take them out. As for Xuen I dont use it it, I use Rushing Jade Wind in most of the situations am in its a lot better pve and pvp wise.

The whole point of a CR is to do as little as possible, a CR without CC's, buffs and defensive's makes is kinda useless in pve and pvp. But hey everyone has their own play style, mine is just lazy and being top damage in PVE and PVP and becoming the most annoying monk in today's BG's.

 

Does anyone know why I get extreme frame rate lag when I run Singular/HB? I just tried this modded version of Singular and it's like that. It's also like that with an unmodded version of Singular for my shaman, too.

Edit: I don't have this problem using a modded version of Coro-Frost for my DK. Any ideas?

 

dunno, am using my modified monk version and its not lagging for me at all... then again the CR I use on other classes that kinda work for 6.0.2 dont lag me either.

Try disabling all addons and see if that makes any difference, or do a fresh & clean HB install...

 

There is a way to change the use of TB? Use TB always with 10 stacks.

 

Which files are the latest? post 1 or 10?

 

I dont know, 1st post is my only file which work perfect even in mythic raids... they other one somebody started modifying what i had (which makes u do more, makes using a bot less effective in my opinion) so I have no clue
