I'm sorry to the the bearer of bad news but this game does not have the potential to be a profitable niche for us so development of GW2Buddy stops today.

      :(

Oh well, I think I'll have a look at HonorBuddy :)

Looking on the bright side, I won't get banned now from GW2 :) Good fun, that game is.

:( are you going to make the source available so its possible for someone else to continue the work from the project?

That would be nice, but HIGHLY unlikely, especially as far as the Mesh is concerned. Mind you, what about allowing it to continue, but supported by the users? Nah, that won't work, still issues re secret stuff such as the MESH.

If I were you, I'd just search for it on the net (e.g. GW2 bot), then visit the forums of the bot sites. You should be able to get a good diea of how good they are... number of users, good support, excellent anti detection, etc. I am unable to recommend any to you, otherwise I would.

Thanks mate! (Hoping to find a semi-private distributor at this point)

I'm guessing there is a very narrow market here and the success of each is suspect.

We don't want to release a bot of which we're not 100% confident it will live up to the user's expectations.

That of course is part of it, but not the entire story. We feel the game doesn't have the required characteristics for it to be botted successfully, and the daily updates mean that the stuff you can bot, you can't do for an extended period of time - the game often updates at what is 4AM where we are, which means we'd only update it at the earliest 10 or so hours later, only for another patch at night - see where I'm going?

The daily updates is only half of the story, but it certainly was a factor.

Soooo then now what? If GW2 is stopped and Buddywing is closing aswell, is any other game going to be picked up to bot, or will it only be Diablo and WoW?

We have TankLeader too, and we want to focus on improving that and the other existing products (HB and DB) in the coming period. If there's an interesting game coming out to bot, then of course we will still consider jumping it.

I still think elderscrolls/skyrim online would be good. just because of how skyrim was. I would imagine online be same. not sure if bottable. but I know would be big.

If this worked for you, the Minion one certainly will.
The note-worthy parts are generic to all buddy bots, meaning they'd give away parts of their other bots as well. The rest aint special, so nothing any other reverser couldn't do himself. Just another game, just another bot...

Also, recast & detour is free, and works just fine.

It just sucks cause the only other viable bot costs more than playing wow and the only reason i quit wow was because of this reason and the rate of gold i was selling dropping dramatically
