Hello honorbuddy fellas, I know that botting is never safe - and its always a risk you take.. However, obviously I wanna minimize the risk of getting banned. Anyhow, I am lvl 86 as of now, playing a rogue. I have seen multiple (effective) grinding profiles, making it all worth it - since quest profiles are buggy the way MoP is right now...... If I ran the grind bot for like 10 hours, would I get banned?
ive ran nothing but since i have been back to playing and i run the vermin nest profile and the kota peak profile and so far so good, but i am also on a low population server so smaller chance of a player report.
I've currently been running all my bots (6) for 24/7 but I take a break every 6 days or so, I see blizz bans in that amount of time intervals.
If you run your bot for more than 8 hours Blizzard will notice this and you will get automatically banned. So don't do it.
as for grinding. i do 2~4 hour stretches per char. i use ARRelog to at least, swap chars and do something else for 2 hours before coming bak to grind 2 hours and have had it run 20 hours straight changing it up like that. I wouldn't suggest ten hours. Plus, as a rogue, if you have the CC (though right now as Assa rogue, i've not found any that work properly -.- )) have stealth enabled all the time. much less likely to be noticed or reported. I'd grind bot when you're not here, run quest bot while you are. fastest to get to 90.
how does that justify anything? maybe he's had previous experience? friends that had been banned for it? you yourself have been here a month --; no need to be so terse.

Hehe, that was my thoughts too. Well, he just referred to a wiki page - and I checked it out. Definitely great things. So I guess grinding for 4-5 hours, taking a 2 hour break, repeat is fine.
Seriously mate, you are way off the track! 10 hours is safe. 16 hours is safe(even everyday, i play more than that with my bare hands, if I was unemployed I would play more that that probly everyday.) 24 hours is safe(but not everyday) Well personally i often bot 24h in a row on my private profiles in lost parts of the maps. I never end in bot trains as I am alone on my profiles. The question here is "Is your profile safe enough to bot 8 hours in a row." The answer is: public profiles are risky, 2 hours in the same spot might result in another botter(an asshole one) that would report you to get the spot for his bot alone.. Forget about the 8 hours thins Iko said, this makes no sense at all lol Did you try Cava's MoP leveling profiles? I leveled 6 90s with those so far, have to do like 10 quest by hand and the rest works pefectly. Usually my bot end 90 in the beginning of Townlong steppes. Seriously Cava's stuff is great for MoP, give it a try! The money output is very interesting too and so is the guild experience!
Your seriously trolling here, Your avatar is even a troll. You can safely bot 10 hours straight with no breaks if you wanted to, just depends on what hours of the day, location, population, botbase and ect.
