JP Farming Method 100% AFK

I have been farming JP for heirlooms, so i through that i would share my current JP farming method for anyone else to use for heirlooms and item upgrades and the like.

Scenario: Arena of Annihilation.

This is a 5 boss scenario that takes less than 10 mins to complete and is pretty much insta-cue. By setting dungeon buddy to only use this scenario you get all JP, 84 per run. 6 runs an hour is 500jp per hour. And the good thing is, it works almost flawlessly, so it is 100% AFKable. Make that 4K JP while you sleep, buy all the heirlooms you want and upgrade all your 463 items to 471.

Good find! So far got about 2K JP and still going.

 

Tried to triple box but the bots won't hit the bong to start it off and randomly run off away from the bong when they are supposed to hit it.
Once its fine tuned though this will be excellent.

 

If you have three bots, this is also a good method to quickly level guilds and flip them for profit.

 

glad you guys like it and find it useful. i have posted some comments into the dungeonbuddy thread to see if we can get some minor changes made to how it works to make it much more efficient.

i`ve been doing most scenarios with 3 bots.

arena of annihilation prolly would be the quickest, but with the bots not hitting the gong its not afkable.

best one for 3 bots partied up is the crypt of the forgotten kings atm, average time is 10 mins (prolly faster if all 3 bots are well geared)

 

3 bots can run that without user interaction?

 

15 runs in a row went smooth without any interaction, then I had some problems with 1 member missing queue

not sure if it was caused by lag (leader queueing up too fast) or DB flipping

 

Latest honorbuddy seems to have broken this arena, or is it just me?

Ok, i do agree it is easy/AFKable, but in almost same time you can do 5man HC these days since most groups have 550 iLVL gear and go through 5 man's like hot knife through butter, and if you quee as healer/ranged DPS

5 man HC gives much more JP per minute especially if you don't need valor and can quee specific, that way you can choose one with more bosses per time needed (less trash) since than you get more JP (its 120JP/boss if i remember with 20% guild bonus)

as for using it for leveling guild i thought it was not viable to do it by botting since guilds LVL25 are 20K - 30K on most high-pop realms and you can't do it in 20 - 30 bot-hours* in any way except if you recruit real players to level it for you

*)1 bot-hour = 1 bot per 1 hour so if you have 3 bots and use them 5 hours each (at same time) it is 15 bot-hours not 5

how much guild XP you get if 3 bots in same guild do that scenario once?

Actually, as Bloodmarks mentioned, 5man HC Dungeon farming is so far the best JP farm method, but these JP are only useful for buying WOTLK epic gems and filling your heirlooms collection only. The 463 gear itself is too useless.

In 20min on Timeless isle everyone can dig at least 10x 496ilvl items for their class and 1x guaranteed 535ilvl just from looting all the easy chests (increase by extra 10-15min if we reach the undersea and bird-only chests).

 

Can you explain this? I farmed coins for 24 hours and only got random 8x 496 ilvl items and only 2 of them were useful for my DK. Is there a profile or guilde to do what you mention?

there are one time, and daily chests that give you a lot of 496 pieces, you should hit them before starting grinding coins, to see map of them get handy notes addon for WOW, and timeless isle plugins for it ( there are 3)

even better make profile to pick them up for you, BTW definitely get bird chests (4 i think) because 1 of them is blazing=guaranteed gear also solve rolo riddle 1 more guaranteed piece,
anyway if you have 1 or 2 chars you can do it manually in less than hour, if you have more i suggest you make yourself a profile to do it

 

Can you give wowhead link to this chests? I really don't know about that chests. Ahe only chest plugin i could find is BrodiesPlugin, it just uses coins to open chests in one cave and the other part of it is just killing mobs, never looted any chest.

It'd be awesome if you helped me about this chest thingies.
