I was accidentely using AHbot.xml when using professionbuddy, and it sold all of my golden lotus in 20 stacks for 56 gold each which is the price that it sells for on this server. 1., Why did it do this xD? 2., how can I set up the actual AHbuddy undercut other people and relist when other people undercut me? I am mainly selling mop herbs.. Do I need to set up each buyout price of mop herbs myself, or can it do it auto? thanks lol, Kcorj2244
It does this for me too. I just go through my mail and deposit the golden lotus in my gbank and sell it in bulk later.
I have never used an addon for my auctions. not even curse approved ones. HELL to the NO man. Too much risk.
Highly recommend not using things you don't understand. xcure, the addons and bots do exactly what you tell them to. As long as you're diligent in your setup, there is no problem with using both to post your auctions. I can't imagine putting up the volume of stuff I sell without help. Sort of defeats the purpose of being lazy.
the problem is that even if it does work, there will just be groups of you using AHbuddy lowering all prices on good items, resulting in 72 hour bans.
While there is an Auction House, there will always be someone, by some means, lowering prices on good items. I imagine the bans would follow as I'm sure most AH-Bot related bans are from other people reporting players after being constantly undercut, botting or not. I got a 72 hour ban before I even knew about botting, I was just using TSM to quickly post new and cancel undercut auctions while watching TV/Movies and running from auctioneer to mailbox and back. At the time of the ban I had an average of ~7000 items on the AH daily, that kind of activity stands out to a lot of other players, they get annoyed and report you.
and this is considered "abuse of economy" either bot or legit, even if you do it manual without addons (wich is nearly impossible)
