Iv been using hb for while now and im also a bit swtor fat so i want ask is it really worth buying this bot for swtor , cause i heard that its really laggy?
Hi Fony, The game itself is laggy because of some nightmarish programming; however, if you can run SWToR smoothly, then the bot itself shouldn't make much difference. Issues with internet connectivity can also lead to laggy behavior. Per the bot, it will quest with a good deal of babysitting, but it's best as a pure grind bot IMO. Once you set up a few nice grinding profiles, it can run for many hours until the game itself crashes (another SWToR issue). In a nutshell: Space Bot: No PvP Bot: No (limited success here) Quest Bot: Varying degrees of babysitting required, some planets better than others, helpful for leveling Grind Bot: This is why you purchase; after initial set up, BW is good at grinding levels and earning credits at max level Note that Buddy Wing subscriptions ceased in January, but they should become available again soon per some recent Buddy developer posts. Cheers, -D
If you are used to HB then this bot will be a HUGE disappointment. I know we have a much smaller community than HB but you will also find that the people that hype this bot either don't share the profiles they use or can not give you a clear reason as to why its not working.
Code said that we should hear something soon. All those attacks on the website pushed their plans back a bit.
Hey Lockwood, I'm not sure it will get any better post-expansion (per the afk issues you mentioned in previous posts). I doubt the Buddy Team can do much about it either; the freezing/crashing issues relate to the coding nightmare otherwise known as the SWToR game client, not the bot itself. SWToR uses more and more system resources the longer it runs; after enough time passes, us botters are left with either an unresponsive bot or a game crash. My solution has been to restart each game instance every 3-4 hours (or whenever I switch planets). It runs all night for me sometimes (six+ hours), but this is hit and miss. I suspect that potential afk time probably has more to do with the system running the game and internet connectivity than anything else. It might just be better to say that BW is afk-able, but only for limited periods of time. For potential buyers, if the above is acceptable, then think about purchasing. If it isn't, then save your money, perhaps to bot a different game which allows for a longer period of afk botting. In my case, it makes me credits, which makes me money, which makes me happy. Meh. Cheers, -D
Hi Jests, Bossland is out of town until Thursday, but his last statement indicated that he expected to have subscriptions available before the weekend. Keep checking the official sales site here: Buddy Wing. And welcome to the community. Cheers, -D EDIT Okay, his message was just right here, I swear!
