Anyone here have a good feedback on VMWare?? And if so, how many accounts is it possible to use with it? Dont have any hardware problems at all using it... i think! Havent started using it yet.. Want some feedback from you guys if is a good idea
at first... its called "VMWare" But back to your question: I cant say anything to botting wow inside VMWare. I just used it @d3 and it worked very well! There is no limit of accounts, its just limited by your hardware.
I have VMware set up for two bots in WoW and it works perfectly, only problem is that you have to fix the issue with mouse sensitivity using VMworkstation.
The mouse sensitivity problem can also be solved from ingame, by disabling Hardware Acceleration for mouse. I'm running one bot in a VMWare currently and it works fine, I can even play on the bot myself and do dungeons or PvP
Did manage to figure out the mouse probs all by my self:/ but damn messy while not fixed. But still, your using Windows 7 or xp or any other Windows?
anyone use VMware on a mac? I can't get wow to run due to the graphics card not being suitable (the vmware one). I'm obviously missing something simple...
Does VMWare chew up a lot more memory than running WoW without it? I've recently started running 4 bots on my computer without any MAC spoofers or \/PNs. I assume you run a different VM per bot, so would this start to pressure the computer when running 4+ bots?
dont use vmware if you dont have a high end computer. the using of vmware for security is not proofed. im pretty sure thats the same shit using or not using vmware..... here are the biggest cons: - uses huge ressources( CPU, Ram) ---> I didnt test a lot of settings, but when i used vmware i used this setup: 2 vmware and 6 bots in them. = 12 Bots ---> didnt run good ---> VMware was instable and freezed ->> stopped using vmware. Without vmware i can run up to 18 bots ( CPU blocks then) - can be very instable and problem solving is sometimes a lot of work - costs money - does it really helps ?! if you have a lot of time, good pc gear and the motiviation that it will take time to work, then go for vmware. in other cases, just bot the shit out of the accounts and dont care about anything
I would use VMware with win 7, but disable any kind of graphical feature or any service that isn't necessary to wow, internet, peripherals, and system itself.
Yea if you dont care about your accounts go ahead, As coolstorybro had 40 accounts running on 1 pc and got them all banned at once he is now looking into using vmware now. I have 12 accounts and 12 different V P N's and Vmware stations works great, you do have too have a good pc but yes.
VMWare does not make botting more safe at all. Its good to have a standard set of a bot configuration if you bot on different PC's, thats all! Also you should make sure that you have a real VMWare license. VMWare is sending out info to the author and you could get expensive post if you use a piracy copy. Btw. do not forget that VMware was not made to play any games with it. It's a virtual environment for companies and work so it's not optimized for any graphic intensive product.
Ive used piracy copy of Vmware for years with HB and WoW and never got anything, And what do you mean its not safer? You can change your IP address and mac ID fake the hardware ID and more, If you bot 10 accounts on 1 IP they all have a higher chance too get banned together then if they all was on separate vmware and ip's. Would like too see how it is not useful at all in anyway. Also the latest vmware now has 3d and wow works great with it. Good too see a admin replying for once. Regards Razer
Going for 2gb memory for each vm session, is it enough? And still, witch windows should i use? Tried XP but having probs with netframe 4.0... So should i go with windows 7 and use netframe 4.5? Best Regards MuteMe
the guy with 40 bots seemed like a troll. dont no why but i think he is just trolling .... if your VMwares dont work anymore, what would you do ? 12 IPs and 12 Accounts putting on 1 PC with 1 IP is autoflagging you. just use board search and you will find also other interest informations. i dont know why but there were a good diablo3 faq for vmware, and the thread creator edit his post: vmware is shit. Dont know why, maybe all his bots got banned? also why should admin lie ,that they track down *****ed VM users? he gives useful tips, and for someone who has 12 bots it shouldt be a problem to buy a original licence.
Quick question : if the accounts are on VMWare si a different V P N , what else can tie them to the accounts running on the same computers, but without VMWare and *** ?
without vmware you can have a lot of more bots. if you cant set up vmware with ***s and running them for months, great for you. im no computer expert, i dont know if its technically possibly to link every VMware to the same PC
