I've just got a 72h suspension. I was grinding for a pet during 8h on the last night, in the morning I logged on another alt for 2 hours and then I logged back on the grinder again for another 6-8 hours. When I got back home from work I notized I was banned for 72h, and on the mail they sent me they say I've been caught using 3rd party programs on Battlegrounds, and WTF, my char got 100 HK. So I don't rly know if it's better to just let it go and wait for the 72h to pass or to appeal it. I mean, if they are going to ban me at least ban me for a good reason. Anyone got some experience on this matter? 1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? Honorbuddy 2)If so, when was the last time?: This afternoon. 3)What profile were you using?: Custom grinding profile for pet/mount farming 4)What combat class were you using? Fury warrior 5)What plugins are you using?: 6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: 12-18, Swapping Characters every 6-8 hours, but always on same account. 6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? 30% 7)How many auctions per day did you have?: I always have like 150 active auctions on my alt, but I don't use AHbuddy, so I guess nothing suspicious. 8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? No 9)Was your account involved in gold selling? No (yet ) 10)EU or US realm? EU 11)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account? Normal paid account Also a big doubt cross my mind now. Once the 72 hours ban passed will they watch my account more closely, or would I get the same chances of getting spotted while botting as if I weren't caught at all yet?
Sorry for the double post, but after this warning I got a couple of questions that some of you may be able to answer because I'm pretty new here and I got no experience at all. Like I said on my previous post, will they watch my account more closely now that I got a 72h warning? Some of you that bot 24/7 using Arelog and changing profiles every 4-6 hours, wouldn't it trigger Blizz attention if they notice your account is online so much time even tho you relog on different chars and follow different patterns? Many of you talk on forums about grinding being like an alarm for blizz of you using a bot, but what is so notizable about it? player reports, number of mobs of the same kind killed per hour, or just long time online on same area? I'm rly interested on some help for more experienced ppl on this matter, because after my ban expires I'm sure I will use my bot again, so I know I will get chances of getting perma banned. Doesn't rly mattter to me, my account is pretty new, got almost no epics and no achies I'm scared to lose, but I just want to make it the most safe way for as long as I can. Thanks a lot in advance buddies.
i just got a 72 hour ban too.. there have been a few suspensions on my account but none for 3rd party programs yet.. on this one they said (72hours, LAST CHANCE) so since it was my main account I wont bot anymore on it apart from tyrael in raids since i think user controlled is harmless unless HB is detected.. mine was 100 percent due to a player report because i left my bot afk only this once for like 30mins.. and 20mins of that he spend wiggling around a quest giver in a highly populated area.. so my own fault really.. i have a paranoia aswell thinking the will inspect it closer after 72 hours but not sure since with millions of subscribers i think they have a lot on their hands but to follow one single player around.. i think they send out tons of these suspensions and cant follow them up..
