1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? Lazyraider

2)If so, when was the last time?: Feb 20 8:45pm

3)What profile were you using?: Lazyraider

4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: TuanHa Shadowpriest

5)What plugins are you using?: bare bones typically for raiding

6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: 12

6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? for raiding 100%, but for gatherbot its more like 10%, just check in once in a while during the day

7)How many auctions per day did you have?: usually about 100, but started cutting perfect gems so there were 5 of many cuts. Looks like 195 were actually posted tonight

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? nope

9)Was your account involved in gold selling? never ever

10)EU or US realm? US realm

11)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account? paid account

I have never PVP'd on this account, so I am certain that wasn't it. I use gatherbuddy on my mage on a random timed schedule that adds up to about 8 hours (HBRELOG). The profile is the Beta Massive one. My main is in a raiding guild so I have "real human" like activity. None of the guild members knew my alts names. I also quested all the time using Kick's profiles. All of this has been a daily routine for me since I came from Pirox - 2 years yet? Anyways, I have a couple of theories:

Theory 1: I just posted too many cut gems on the AH tonight. I had about 3 or 4 days of prospecting and milling to do today, so I think I just was a little careless.

Theory 2: I started to use the user interface of TuanHa Shadowpriest and I noticed that when I pressed control-a it has a little box that says "AOE OFF" and then I used it to turn it back on. Noone else can see it, but it made me nervous. I had my account banned in the Pirox Archeology banwave that was very similar. Pirox had a code that was printed on the screen, into a random chat channel. I guess the GM's just collected anyone's account that had opened up chat channels and typed in excessively large random numbers (maybe 10 digits).

Any chance I get this back?!!

Here is the letter they emailed me:

      ***Notice of Account Closure***

      Account Name: WOW1

Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs ("Hacks")

This account was closed because one or more characters were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack." These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harms the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and supersede the intended limits of the game.

Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.

We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/services/anti-gold/

The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at http://us.blizzard.com/company/legal/index.html. Note that additional Terms of Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and including permanent closure.

If you believe your account was compromised, please go to the following website https://us.battle.net/account/support/account-recovery.html. Our support staff will assist you as soon as possible. I highly doubt it was from posting 200 gems on the AH; that can EASILY be done legitimately with TSM.

Honestly, it's probably just due to a few reports you received while using gatherbuddy/questing. All it takes is a few seconds of your bot being stuck in the backwards-sideways waltz for some good samaritan to identify you as a bot and report you.

I work from home and I frequently alt-tab to check on my gatherbuddy. I don't remember any whispers or any stuck/sideways spots for a very long time. Also, the ban happened during raid while I was on break just sitting there. Nobody in my guild would ever have suspected that I had an alt, as I always claimed to be broke (lol). I think maybe theory 2? Is that crazy?

Theory 2: I started to use the user interface of TuanHa Shadowpriest and I noticed that when I pressed control-a it has a little box that says "AOE OFF" and then I used it to turn it back on.
