As title says, i am after 3 more keys personally, i am not phazed by nav servers going down or slowing at times, i can deal with that, and any other problems i encounter, just after more keys. And NO i do not want to purchase keys from players. ps: do not flame this post, i am asking a simple question, dont want this to become a forum war.
Soon, i am on the road till thursday, and due to the ddos we had i could not keep my promise, but it will be this weekend at worst.
The support and effort that is put into this issue isn't selling anything to me. Some type of response I believe is warranted. Otherwise I can take my money elsewhere?
Look if you want to take your money elsewhere you are entitled to do so. But with buddy products you are at least aware of the support (IN MOST CASES) is genuinely phenomenal and the protection is also one of the best. Also this isn't an issue they decided it was not profitable to sell the bot anymore and then reneged and decided to sell it but haven't really decided on the exact date and a response isn't warranted but it would be appreciated whenever the higher ups have the time to do so.
On that note, I am curious about the decision it wasn't profitable. Near as I can tell, they're still offering patch support and NAV servers for the bots so I'm trying to understand what part of it wasn't profitable. Is there some other cost to that of a bot outside of the patching and support that's being offered that is incurred when they sell the bot? I'm just curious really... from my standpoint I don't understand the business of the decision.
They pay the dev on salary and the amount sold a day was shit. So they decided to pull the plug but i guess they are coming up with a new pricing plan.
I see, so they must be able to pay the dev less now that less support is needed. OK, I guess that makes sense. Hope they make the transition to subscription based soon I have my bot accounts sitting there collecting dust while I wait for keys :\
There are various things we need to sort out before being able to make the step towards subscriptions for BuddyWing. The part of it not being profitable is exactly what you said, the daily sales of the bot were by far not enough to even pay for the expenses we make for keeping the bot alive and up to date. On top of that, as you mentioned as well, we feel we have to offer quality support for all of our products, and with BuddyWing performing poorly, we initially decided it'd be a better decision from a business stand point to pull the plug altogether. Having said that, we are still working on bringing BuddyWing back on a subscription basis, but as of now, we can not provide a set point in time as to when that will happen, only that we are working on getting it all sorted out. It's more work under the hood than you'd think. I'd like to ask you to bear with us until that moment. Thanks!
aevitas I have a few keys, the ones that go all night for me are old computers, the newer pc's of mine run it better but stop working after a period of time. as for it not working, i run a few keys 24 hrs a day, only small problem i get is when nav server stops.
yea I usually can bot hours straight when I play other games but when I sleep the game freezes from time to time (like 10% of the time when i let it bot all night) So I find that still very doable as I only use it for leveling and not farming
Oh i totally agree with you and that is why i was just informing people also i need to talk to boss i found a loophole on buying buddywing which im not going to disclose here nor am i going to abuse or use. Or if you want to pass it along to him I'll pm you just in case.
Hi, I really like the bot, but helps a lot to farm, im not a professional farmer, dont want to sell credits, just wanna make saome credits to use in game, and for that the bot is great. I hope you do the right marketing and keep this bot alive. Also there is new stuff coming to swtor, so it may get new subs.
my newest machine just wont do it for longer then 1-2 hrs i have NFI why either, my olders ones usually dont have problems
You should post a separate thread about this stuff in Support, along with a log and system details. Let's keep this thread on track.
Subscriptions are once more available per the forum posting and official sales site. It looks like the team opted for a three month sales period, selling access at 8.99 euros (about $12.00) for a single session and 12.99 euros (just over $17.00) for three concurrent sessions. Thanks Buddy Team for the continued support and reasonable price point; I no longer need to worry about what I'll do once my sub runs out later this year. Cheers, Woot, and Huzzah! -D
