Blizzard is a business. They want money. In my opinion 'most' all bans come from being reported from other players. That makes sense for a business to do. If no one complains and they are making the money I doubt they care. Over 65 accounts leveled with not one ban. Maybe its luck. Maybe its Karma. Either way I have had nothing but success from HB. Thank you to the devs!
ofcourse lazyraider is safe for bg rbg arena pve raiding as you control the movement with clicktomove off and the bot is only casting the spells in rotation for healing or dps
Yea I read up on this, and decided to do something that would throw them off. I flew around for two hours non stop going all over Pandaria before finally coming back to the same location. I think they look for concentrated pathways, not multi-multi thousands of pathways. Randomize FTW.
well idk i've botted since about august or september. and i havent even got temp ban. then again ihardly leave my bot unattended. i guess its about how u go at it. and wht u use it for rllly. then agian 90% of the tiem i only use for questing and gathering. i hardly ever use bgbuddy or dungeonbuddy. it gets to glitch sometimes and its very obvious.... nonetheless. and recently i'v emade severle post about it. and devs dont care. they dont respond. so at this rate. hb will prolly fail eventualy. i mean u got ppl charging for cc's. cuz ppl making half ass'ed cc's so u buy there legit ones. i mean they cant even make singular or clu work correctly on release of updates. i mean mop has been on how many months now. abit rediculis if u ask me. singular still has movement issues with monk class. -.- but ya. for a product u have to pay for customer server is poor in my opinion. i understand that they can anser everyone in a timely fashion. but i mean come on seriously?
My theory is that Blizzard doesn't really care enough to make an effort to ban most botters unless they A) Are making personal profits from gold sale or B) Ruining other people's experiences due to "running" the economy. I've been questing (leveling), PVPing and grinding for mats for my own use for 8-12 hours a day for nearly 2 years. I've been "reported" at least 3 times from that I've been told and I never got anything...no warnings, no suspensions, no bans. I've never sold gold or put up more than 10 auctions up at a time (no more than 30 a week). Be smart and you don't really have to worry. You may be a botter, but you are also subscriber ($$$) and Blizzard knows this. If Blizzard really wanted to ban the majority of botters they could...but that would require a lot of man power they don't have due to recent lay-offs and they'd probably lose 20 percent of their subscribers I'd estimate, which is a large chunk of profit to lose.
I don't know about you guys, but I have been botting since LK came out. I made a lot of money and got only a few 72h bans since then. But lately something changed... I have always been botting for 24 hours a day, even the last months, but suddenly they just started to care and bann us.
Have you ever looked at the WoW general forums? All they do is cry about bots in BG's, so I am guessing they feel the need to thin the herd and make it seem like they care. I 100% believe they will only ban those who make it most obvious. Sure new accounts are getting sniped. I have botted the same 6 accounts since Cata launched daily and none have been hit.
I have to agree with you. The only account that have been banned in the past few months were new accounts (I wasn't watching the new ones), and they were only 72 hour bans. I started to bot the banned ones a couple days later (watching closer), and they all made it to max level with no issues. My mains were even on the same computer and they weren't touched. Let's think about this from a business perspective...It's in Blizzard's best interested to keep everyone happy... if you're not getting reported, why would they honestly care to take your $15/month? If you get reported a lot, you are then causing problems to their overall user base, and then are forced to take action. Bot safer, apologize if you accidentally kill steal (monitor), and respond to whispers. You might find that Big brother is happy to take your money and look the other way if you aren't bothering others. Just what I've noticed over the years botting multiple games. Only times I've ever lost accounts, is when I was being Lazy. No matter if I was using macro bot or dll. Higher % of Lazy = Higher % of Ban (you like the higher math I did there? lolz) My 2 cents, feel free to flame... I have thick skin :} -X
