EDIT: Thanks to ChrisAttackk, the BETA of the new HonorBuddy can be found at this link; http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewest?filter=HonorbuddyBETA

If you are going to use the beta issues MUST be reported in the beta thread, however it is recommended you wait till a stable build is released as some features will not function properly.
      http://www.thebuddyforum.com/releases/108440-honorbuddy-beta-builds.html

      Most people right now are having trouble with HonorBuddy are getting this message;

      Honorbuddy v2.5.6805.535 started.
      [23:58:48.867 N] Logging in...
      [23:58:50.580 N] -------------------------------
[23:58:50.581 N] You have not selected a valid instance of WoW to attach to!
[23:58:50.581 N] Please restart Honorbuddy and choose a valid instance of WoW to use Honorbuddy with!
[23:58:50.582 N] This version of Honorbuddy only supports WoW Build #16357
[23:58:50.582 N] You are currently on build #0
[23:58:50.582 N] There are 64 bit WoW processes running, did you start from the WoW launcher? If so, please start Wow.exe manually to use the 32 bit game version!
      [23:58:50.582 N] -------------------------------

This is because the patch came out today, and the Developers have not had a chance to update HonorBuddy. You just have to be patient and give them the time they need in order to make HonorBuddy work again.

Hopefully this answers the majority of your questions about why the bot isn't running.

That is nice of you to post this to help people figure out. As a way to thank you i'm gonna try to help you! You seem a bit new to HB so I told myself it might be interesting for you to know that HB is telling you in your log to use the 32bit version.

      Good botting!

And, I don't mean to be rude, but that is the message is like that regardless. I will double check just to make sure.

EDIT: Confirmed, in the 32-bit client, that is what comes up. So it isn't on my end.

I think the developers already released a functional beta version for 5.2

If that is the case, could you drop a link so I can edit the first post with it? I've been searching but haven't been able to find anything about it at the moment :(

Regular Honorbuddy won't attach to WoW, obviously from the update. Beta build will, but nothing happens so I'm guessing that only combat bot and raid bot probably work with that version.

It's safe to say that the vast majority of the features on HonorBuddy won't work today, or tomorrow for that matter. I know that personally I'm taking a break from boting until I hear that it is "safe" to do so. By this I mean that on a new patch day, Blizzard could have implemented new features to catch bots. I don't want to risk my account over boting the day a patch comes out.

That's just my two cents, feel free to do what you would like, but like I said, better safe than sorry.

I'll try to keep the first post up-to-date with the latest information for those who would like to continue boting.

I hear what you're saying. But for those wish to brave the times. The beta HB in this thread so far can use CRs that have been updated (Or Pre Updated). I haven't tried singular yet(I doubt would work with the new class updates). But custom CRs will most likely be updated first.

Beta version Combat Bot worked well with my Combat Rogue in and out of new area. Nothing though (Questing, Lazy Raider, Combat Bot, etc.) has worked for my leveling 58 Lock.

I think that the BETA is focusing more on the new area, rather than the old ones at the moment, which is why you are having that trouble with using it to level your Warlock.

make sure you're starting the bot in old areas. like org or shrine, and things like that. new content will give you error most of the time. For low lvls I can't say that this will work for you.
      Let it go
