Thanks in advance for any assistance. So i was running into big lag issues on one of my accounts. Seeing as my 2nd account would run fine (no lag) and both were running on the same machine from the same instance of wow I thought maybe clear the WTF folder. Long story short, it worked and the lag is gone. However, now HB will not connect to wow. Says invalid instance. #0 all that good stuff. I made sure wow is running 32 bit and directx 9. Still no luck. Any ideas anyone?
Same thing is happening to me, says i have an invalid build on WoW, Im running 32 bit WoW & IT JUST started randomly saying it, I was running it just fine like 10 minutes ago
Hey i hate to make you feel like an idiot but when you clear your wtf folder you clear your settings. As in Direct x9 is now 10 wow 32 is now 64 load up the launcher and change your settings back. It's ok it happens the best of us. your settings should be wow 32 client and direct x 9 In case you didn't understand. Just because you click the 32 bit exe doesn't mean it launched 32 bit wow. U have to change settings in the launcher.
Hey, I hate to make you feel like an idiot. But if you would have read the posts, we both said we had already corrected the directx9 and wow32 issues. Thanks again, but next time you try to insult someone at least read the post.
WOW version after sneaky update this afternoon 16669. HB looking for 16650. Problem found. I will wait patiently for devs to handle this.
Well al is good then Glad you found out the issue I replied from work and didn't notice a patch had snuck in. But next time instead of posting a question like this maybe use the search bar to find out that hey a patch hit today and now i feel like an idiot because i just posted that my wow was set to 32 bit and directx 9 but i didn't think a patch would effect my the honorbuddy program who would have guessed.
