The quick patch that was applied to the american servers that causing all this fuss on the HB forums was implemented to fix a glitch in the pet battle system that caused every pet battle you won, regardless of your level or your pets, to award your character with current level quest turn-in equivalent experience. For example I went to a starting are on my 85 priest and did pet battles with low level pets and was earning roughly 100k xp per fight for my priest. Blizz didnt reset the XP or anything so id say take advantage and start working on your alts before the patch hits ya. GL
Not sure if you understand what im saying, but the EU servers didnt recieve the patch last night. Thats why the new test version of HB wont attach to EU players games, its made for the new build with the xp patched. Do please ignore the previous poster
