Hello! =) Would like to request some help on getting a working plugin or so to make druids ignore combat when farming in flightform.
For herbing, you could just grab the herbs and fly off. But if your druid is an herb/miner, then ignoring attackers wouldn't work, since you dismount (out of flight form) to mine. For the OP... you are probably looking for a plugin, not a Gatherbuddy2 profile. Might want to ask there.
If you get, for example "Dashed" while herbing, you'll get out of the flightform. And with a plugin like this, the bot would just stand there waiting to die, over and over again. And why it'll be over and over again is because the bot probably would res, go back for body, get in combat and repeat. Sorry OP, but I don't think you'd find anyone to make such a dumb plugin.
actually, the idea behind the plugin isn't that at all... it would just a form check as ive seen HB do similar with mounting and running past mobs when it has an objective it's going for but hasn't been hit yet (but in combat). logic would simply be: If in flightform, fly up away from combat, else attack.
Well i dont know if it should be a plugin or a cc =) im just hoping some developer can get this feature avaible =) i know it has been working before but not anymore.
a silly question, but have you tried setting range to 0 ? you can probably use a plugin to "keep" you mounted up, but it will slip occasionally. from memory, harvest helper is still around, with limited efficacy over "automatic" and range=0 flight. perhaps try a blacklisting plugin to watch for elites/mobs around nodes, that would slow down efficiency, but not as much as dismounting & dying without fighting back.
Hey, I've got programming skills what so ever, but I see some fishing profiles I use with AutoAngler do the "try to see if flying away clears combat" situation. no idea what the coding behind that is, but it seems to work. However if you encounter a more or less stationary mob it might get time consuming, flying up to clear combat, back down to gather, aggro the mob, fly back up again, etc. Hope someone can use this info.
