Honestly, if I get my account back which I'm not getting my hopes up, I'm done botting forever. This is on my main account, i have over 100+ mounts and pets, over 9K cheeve points, several 90's, multiple professions, awesome transmog, just a lot of shit that I did most of by hand before I even found HB. I'm not doing that all over again, not startin over. Dont wanna lose the account but I wont be starting another one. So hopefully :S
Yeah, I would never bot on my main account... 200 mounts, 13k achievement points and 400 pets... just not worth it.
Ya, I'm realizing that now. Very bad Idea. I just didn't bot that much or did anything crazy to even get noticed, i thought I would be fine. I mean I literally just botted to level professions, get mats for MYSELF, and that was about it. I didn't really make any real money off of botting itself or got anything crazy because of it. As far as botting goes, I was a low level chum. Guess thats a message for anyone that is botting, even the smallest things can get noticed. And they dont't hesitate to do it and take it the full extent.
I got banned arround 9 PM as well...damn it. I understand your feeling. and I will open another account just for farming!!! I really got fun from farming. My story for resent 2 days: I was so poor, and I have only 2000 gold left in my main account. SO I opened another character and level up it. I got about net 10200 gold from 1-90. And I got about 3000 for every short-time gather after 90. I think I fell in love with farming gold...
It honestly just irks me. I dont have time to level these all my self, collect mats for the things I need, and still have time to do all the dailies they require us to do, grind dungeons and bg's for points and gear, squeeze in a raid, and still have time to go to work, eat, be with my girlfriend, and sleep. It's ridiculous and thats the only thing I used it for.
man, the same here...I know botting is really harmful to the other players, but time is money. we really dont have enough time as those pro players (put 20 hours on one game daily...) And I dont involve in any gold trading, I just want to decrease my badness to the smallest. It is a "free people's game" seriously!
Suppose none of this really matters though. It's against the ToS and the EULA so I guess I had it coming eventually.
Yah, I have a ticket in now, waiting for a reply at some point. Don't have a good card to play so I'll see how being dead honest works and hope they believe me. Like I said earlier, not getting my hopes up. With the amount of bans happening lately I dont foresee them paying much attention.
Well, woke up this morning to an email from a GM saying my account had been thoroughly looked over and the action was removed. I didn't tell them much, I just said I wish to speak with them about the account action. There was no back and forth conversation, they simply lifted the ban. So I just have to say thank god. Everyone heed my words, every banned person lately has been using GB2, don't use it. Even a little, I dont know what they are doing but they are getting a large amount of people using GB. As for me, I'm done. I skated through with my hide and I'm not risking it again.
