Hey All, I am getting this error when I try to run Honorbuddy. I just finished building this computer, its all new so I am working out the bugs. Fresh install windows 8. I have installed the c++ download from the startup page here on honorbuddy. I tried to install the framework 4.0 but it says windows 8 has 4.5 installed already so it would not load. I am hoping 4.5 is ok. I have been using this bot for a while now and it seems when I start a new build I always hit a snag. I have attached my log, let me know what I should try if you can. Thanks for the help. [00:12:34.979 N] Honorbuddy v2.5.6922.552 started.

I just wanted to update my problem and that I have resolved with many attempts of trial an error. I have setup honorbuddy a ton of times but this was my first windows 8 install. I did all the suggested fixes and read the installation procedures on honorbuddy a hundred times. I found a thread that was discussing the same issue I was having after looking for a while on the forum. Also sorry about posting this in the wrong part of the forum I don't usually post but was really stuck on this issue. Ok I wanted to let everyone know that if you are building a new computer and do a fresh install of windows 8 you will have issues with honorbuddy. The fix for me was updating windows 8 through Microsoft. I had just installed it and started working with honorbuddy and didn't check that. After reading many threads here and on the internet I saw something about maybe updating my new issue of windows 8. So all you need to do is go to the right hand of the screen click on search, enter windows update, select the settings option that will come up and off to the right will be an update windows option to choose. Select that and install the options then restart. Be sure to delete the settings folder in honorbuddy before you try to start honorbuddy. Hope this will help anyone that has this issue. I know it drove me crazy for a while and no one else needs to go through that. Thanks for the great bot I have used it for quite a while now and just love it.
