Anyone with experience running a rogue mop pickpocketing profile, what would you estimate in terms of gold/hour in a best case scenario? (Such as flawless profile, no other rogues, max speed boosts, etc) Asking because I've had 15 or 20 90 druids banned in the past few months, my own private profile 10 hours a night and my druids just get perma banned, considering forgetting the 1.3k/hr from herb/inscrip and trying something else. Sorry that was off-topic. Anyway, anyone with gold/hr experience for pickpocketing profiles? Thanks!
Well, there was pickpocket profile for dread wastes that i used for a while about 2 months ago and i could easily push 15 to 18k a day running for about 8h and had the chance to get some epics too on the boxes that would sell at that time for about 10k (a dagger or a sword and even some blues). I?ve searched on the forum and can?t find it anymore. I'm prety sure that profile is on blz target, i think, because lot of people used it... Sorry that cant help more.
I ran that profile for a while as well, but deleted it when doing fresh install. realised after that it was taken down. not sure why. maybe creater can chime in. however, on high pop servers, rogues were all over that profile when it was out, drastically reducing the number of pickpokets made. idk about now tho, since it hasnt been available for some time.
Think the creator requested for it to be taken down from the fact that some people were reporting others that were using the profile to keep competition out of their spot, which was pretty dumb because that just makes blizzard aware of that way of farming. And it was heavily overused on a lot of servers, 5-10 rogues trying to compete in high pop realms.
Thanks for the replies, over 1k/hr sounds suprisingly promising to me. I noticed the same with no public profiles posted any more for it. If I end up making several profiles of my own that work well which shouldn't be hard to do I'll try to remember to share one to the public. I mean should just be a grinding profile with mail/repair right? Sounds simple to me. Unless there are really only a few good areas with sufficient humanoids to do an endless pickpocket chain.
