Hello, I've not been banned, but I have a question concerning banning and I hope it's alright to post that here. I want to run my puppet account with honorbuddy(1 session) while having my main account open, playing normally. If Warden did too a sweep, and found me, would both accounts get the ban, or just the one attached to honorbuddy? I'm sure this is a common question but I've been unable to find an answer. Regards, Volvic
This thread is literally 4 threads below yours: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...s/113048-just-got-question-im-not-banned.html So to answer your question it depends on whether or not your second accoutn is connected the same bnet account as your main.
Warden only looks at the instance of wow its running in. It no longer looks out side at other processes (from like pre TBC or so). On the other end they could look at your hardware and base a ban from that. They do not do ip bans like some people think. I would say its safe, but thats just me.
It's the same name to the account, and they were once linked for RAF but said link is broken, is it still good to go? They are different bnet accounts.
usually you'll find a balance, a real botter knows when hes taking the piss and asking for a ban. (I remember when I just went 24/7 for many days, and then BAM... got to keep my gold and account though LOL, auto ban im guessing).
warden can do both i have caught 72 hours on one account but not my others and when i got ip banned it was on all accounts that i tried to log in from. 2 accounts i was logged into at the same time were banned instantly , I actually found out via emal from Paypal saying my subscriptions had been canceld. They had unique credentials and emails only thing in common was hardware id and IP.
