I am playing a warrior and when it does its vengeance pull, it will go to selected target and just stand still untill jump is off CD and wait till combat is over. I am on Balmorra Profile, Any Help pls
I've actually got a similar problem, running a modified Joe's Operative profile. The bot stealths up as normal and opens with hidden strike, but then after that it won't move. If it's a multiple pull then usually it just gets stuck standing at range throwing grenades and healing.
mercenary Bh moves 5 steps then stops for 30 secs then moves backwards 2 steps like a stuck routine then stands there 30 more secs then forward 3 steps then stands for 30 secs. It may just be nav server lag Im not sure but this is surely the cause of everyones problems. Here is a couple of logs if it helps.
Is the nav server screwing up? Maybe that's why some stuff just started happening today? Last night my bot just stopped working, I'm assuming it has something to do with that.
I can confirm that they don't move with wingit either. It doesn't appear to matter what combat routine you use, after the initial pull the bot doesn't move. It just stands it's ground and fights. (Results in my bot's death a LOT)
Just an update, I found a bug in the routine I was using and it was in fact the routine's fault that the bot wasn't moving after the initial pull.
Aev What happens with chars that are meelee is, they will attack a target then keep running for a short distance, then they will run back to the mob and sometimes stay attacking it, or run through it to the other side. This pulls extra mobs onto the characters. Then they die, or kill everything if they are lucky, now when a few deaths occur, the bot eventually stops moving. I cant tell you how long its been happening for exactly, but 3 weeks ago it was doing it to me, so i just made a ranged char. Have no log mate, because as i said after watching it do that i didnt bother. PS: its doing it with wingit + default hope that helps
Cylak, mine was doing the same thing and when I assigned affinities it fixed the problem. Have you done that yet?
dont use meeles mate, nor do i do the affinitee thing after t tested it a few times, and had the same results as running normal, but the affinity thing with meelees i might try. cheers for the info.
Yeah, if I knew the amount of trouble I'd go through getting a melee class to function properly I would have rolled ranged. I actually originally rolled a bounty hunter but I read that they were screwed up so did an operative. Still, after I set my affinities straight according to that other thread (Main SWTOR exec on core one, buddy wing and 2ndary SWTOR exe on core two) and then futzed with the combat routine a little bit... it actually runs considerably well. I could see a maurader being very formidable with a good combat routine.
