That might also be fine with some people. Since I only bot new toons and I have others to keep me busy, I rather stay in the same continent even If it costs me a couple of extra hours. I like to have my toon to 80 soon, but 4-8 hours difference wont kill me if it makes it more "accomodating" for me. Ease > Time
This is a fail. Desolace is a complete fail for grinding. As is unogro crater. Ungoro crater has a stupid evading bugged teradactyl in the water so u keep drowning and dieing. Did 5 different blackspots round it but it still seems to do it. So in summary use eastern kingdoms grind to effectivley grind 30-60.
Im sorry but the word FAIL might be a missuse. I dont think its as fast as you expected because you want to go from 30 - 40 in a day and that just tooooooo obvious for someone that has only 30 quests completed over all... dont you think? Have you used Bliik's before? As I stated, this is a more updated version with the addition of other Hotspots and Blackspots other users felt needed to have changed. Yes, Desolace and Ungoro are more unpleasant but certainly better than what we are used to. Sure, you can go to Eastern Kingdom, a more Ally area which brings you do die more, be more noticed which in my opnion, raises your risks of getting caught. I like to stay in Kalimdor because: - I login into my leveling toon, open HB, and put it to run. The process may take me 20 secs and I dont have to worry about changing areas manually. That means that I can play in my main toon as much as possible. - Because I'm in a Dominantly Horde area, the chances of me dying because of Ally attacks are very hollow. Im saving on repair and lost time running towards the body. Not to mention, its quite weird when someone kills you and you come back 30 secs afta for 10x in a row and all you're doing is attacking monsters. - I like to keep my botters safe. Remember YOU ARE BRAKING THE RULES! So be smart and dont get caught... That is the 11th ammendment for us, cheaters. If you look backwards into this thread you will see i said it before, EASE over SPEED! This adds Ease and a little more Safety... in my opnion that is.
Is there any way at all to get my druid to fight balance rather than feral?... Also, is this considred the best profile for 50 to 60? if not, what is?
Sure! If thats your thing... I like pure grinding because i can equip the greens on my toon and not have a level 40 for example, with level 20 gear. Its my system. After getting caught twice (I mean I was permanently banned twice on two accounts... brings tears to my eyes) you learn to become better at the wrongs. I know that GMs arent on the look for extra ordinary things to ban you, all it takes is a simple stupid thing like your gear being 20 levels lower, or you being level 30 and not having the 50 quest achievement. Dnt you agree with me that those are very common to happen with us? Those were reasons amongst others why I lost my accounts. What I do is, when Im in a new area, I will go around and accept quests. By the time Im moving areas again, I have 2-5 quests done. By level 30 it adds up and if it doesnt, do a couple. To me, Its also about being safe.
DRUID NEEDS HELP ON QUOTES... sorry man, I havent done druid. To me, I like the way the profile works. Its not perfect and I havent done research for a couple of weeks cuz im working on 60-70 then 70-80, but I call it my baby for a reason. Give it a try and compare to others. Let me know what you think.
Listen mate I agree. Safety first. However, Desolace is simply too slow and has that stupid bugged mob (the hyena that keeps evading). Also Ungoro has another Bugged mob that is impossible to avoid 9even using blackspots) which is the frenzied perodactyl in the middle of the lake. This causes u to die becaus it just evades or eventually drown 9then u can't ress because it's water). It's not the profiles mate. It's the areas. They have bugged mobs in them and the meshes cause you to pull them and keep an infinite dieing loop.
Your first post was a bit harsh, calling someone else's hard work "fail". Moving on from that however, I think your problems are merely Realm specific. I have never gotten stuch on a bugged mob in Desolace or Ungoro. In fact the only problem I have had in Ungoro is the Devilsaur killing me. If you consider Desolace too slow for you likeing, I suggest making your own profile that has an alternative and asking the OP to put it in his compilation.
lol why dont you guys post the starting locations on these? so where does this start out at? that should be the number 1 rule when making a profile thread is listing the starting location. Im always so confused.
Download it, open it in notepad and look for where the numbers start out. This profile starts in Mulgore. It would be convenient if the thread had a start location, but remember this profile was shared with you for free.
Lets take it easy. I looked for those error mentioned by (Lockwood) and yeah, its a server thing. However, I was able to add a couple of blackspots for those. If you see your toon getting stuck on something, post what you think is a descent blackspot, give me the locations so I can go see it, and Voila! Fixed. Now, I know we dont like Desolace, but please people, try it there and lets make this work. I really like the convenience of staying in one continent dont you guys? No matter where I am, or what Im doing, if I have to go, I simply pop HB2, click start and bammm... Im good. Also, I think you guys are really going to like feralas now.... let me know please cuz I like to say this it perfect and done so I can move on to 60-70. Thank you. Btw (Fizzyks), what you mean by start location? I know it might be a noobie question but just tell me what I can do to make this Thread/Profile more accessible or easier and I will. This is all for free guys, but if we all chip in, then its our work, not only mine.
why does my char get stuck trying to get to TB when its time to go train? is there any way to fix it?
I tried this profile with my level 30 rogue and its just great! I'm in Desolace now and I'm getting about 32k exp/hr, nice job! btw: I added the faction of the kodos on the kodo graveyard between lvl 35-37. Without these factions I "only" got about 28k exp/hr.
I don't know how a botter could not like Desolace. The zone really has little to no player traffic and is great for stocking up on Cloth, Leather, and Ores while botting the 30's away. I'll take it over the always player populated STV anytime.
You are. If you have read the forums for more than a day you would know this. Love the new people who complain when they are getting these profiles for free. Lol.
