The google code page is not as easy as just having it linked in the thread here on the forums. However it does have some pretty huge advantages. If you install tortoiseSVN you can get the latest version of the profile with just one click, never even having to open a browser. It also allows the multiple authors of the 1-80 profile to all work on the same code and not have a billion versions floating around out there. One up to date version helps with diagnosing user error reports. Just a quick suggestion but when ever i have leveled a toon by hand i usually go 70-72 BT 72-74 HF 74-76 DB 76-78 GH 78 - 80 SB. I bring this up because of the comment regarding the lack of ability to do stormpeaks / ice crown in the original post. These leveling brackets are purely by questing on average 2 levels per zone with full unrested xp. Obviously a decent amount of grinding will be needed because the bot cannot do all quests but it might help avoid the 76-80 grind issue
Hey jonjohn... I think it might benefit the people on here more if you would rip your code from the 12-80 and make your own .xml in hordequest similar to the way the one guy did for the 61+ profile. Let's seperate the huge gaps for now and leave 12-80 for the acatual 12-80 workin proress (not fragmented but continuing from level 26.. ) Then at the end we can combine everything back into the 12-80.
The profile continuously clicks on the quest giver for "In Defense of Warsong Hold", after it accepts the quest it won't move on. Would you like me to post a bug report here or in the horde 1 -80 project?
Fixed!! Apparently there are different quests you receive depending on if you have killed nef in BWL and have completed the opening of the gates AQ quest. I'm assuming you haven't done either on your botted char. If you have, then just do this quest by hand, all you have to do it walk outside to turn it in. Let me know if you run into any other issues.
Can anyone help me i think this is some great work gone into this but for some reason im level 73 and still in Borean Tundra why is this?
If your using the forcequestlist version the bot should automatically move you to dragonblight, if your using the questorder profile it will move you after all of the quests are done.
Both of these posts are pretty much useless. Tips for making your future posts more informative: Which version of the profile are you using, the ForcedQuestList or the QuestOrder profile? Where were you experiencing issues at? What mobs were you dying to? What quest were you on, what part of the quest? Anything except "im dying and get no xp".
Ya, sorry about that post... it was completely my fault anyways, I had it set to grind instead of Quest >.> Quick question though, is it possible to Quest + Que up for BGs ? I tried doing mixed but it didn't seem to work with this profile. I mainly want to do it to speed up the leveling processes, especially from 68-70. Sorry again and thanks a lot for this profile. It is awesome.
No, unfortunately it is not possible atm to quest and BG. If you try any one of these profile I'd suggest using the QuestOrder version as it splits up the grinding that needs to be done into smaller chunks. It can be found on the horde-project HERE.
I downloaded the 68-70 northrend profile that was located on hordequest.googlecode.com. Is that the one you are referring too? Because, it did 2 quests and it now says it is "grinding to 69."
Thats it, unfortunately there are only a few quests that can be done before lvl 69, and even more that require lvl 70 to start. When the bot reaches quests that require a minimum level it will grind before it can accept the quest.
Seems to be struggling with the Pa'troll quest, think it's done when it's not, probably did one objective. The Lab Work quest, she just stands near the cauldron. Also got killed by a rare, Zul'drak Sentinel (is it on the avoid list?). "Killing Prophet of Sseratus at range of 5 yards." - also a pretty BAD idea, if you ask me. And how can you get the bot to do the quest "Argent Crusade, We Are Leaving" properly. The bot only grinds in this area, for the priests and champions. But what it really should do, is talk to the Argent Crusade fighters, and make them leave. Damn, Questing really is BETA, all these "error" plus bot getting stuck every time, and it doesn't want help, cuz it wants to go INTO a fucking tree. And now it ran into Guardian of fucking Zim'Rhuk. I'm going back to grinding unless someone can fix all my errors and ALL these errors beyond that.
