      Hello all,

I want to run 2 WoW sessions on 1 computer, whats the best way of doing this?

I can run 1 on Oracle virtualBox and 1 in normal. Reason for running it in Virtualbox is because its giving me a other Mac address right?
      Is this safe?

If you have any other reccomodations, please let me know..

      Thanks

Yes, but I dont think its safe to run 2 wows at the same time without any protection.. I mean, 1 botting account and 1 main account. Main account has my own name, botting account has some random name. How is it possible somebody plays from 1 computer. IP address I dont care about. Its just that I want a other Mac address to make it look 2 random people are playing.. know what I mean?

Same. Just run two copies of WoW from different directories so they have their own resource files. Also different HB folders for each WoW instance, sharing a common mesh folder.
No dramas here in over two years doing it this way.

Blizz does infact ban by IP address. So different Mac addy's mean nothing BUT if you download a program called VMware you can install 2 computer and more on your one. and on these VM's you can run a free V-P-N giving you a different IP :)

Good idea keeping the other on a virtual machine. They don't ban IPs, but they ban accounts which is enough. I'd say get a V-P-N for the virtual machine and you're all set.

For all blizzard know you could be two people playing behind the same router.

I have botted two accounts for more that two years straight now, from the same pc, from the same ip.
All I've had was a 72 hr ban a year ago and I'm absolutely positive that was player reports.

Player reports is what you should worry about. Enough of those and crap starts to happen.

I've been botting my main account since I started playing in 08 during BC. When Glider got shutdown I didn't bot until I found HB. I've been using HB for years now. I started a second account during Cata, maybe the end of LK. I've never had a problem until my second account got banned a while ago. Perma ban. I had a few emails back and forth, with a few choice words and it got reversed. It ran out of time the day after the ban was reversed and I haven't renewed. My main is still fine. I sent gold and mats back and forth almost everyday. My bot account would run all day for days straight and send all mats to my main account. Never a single problem on my main account. I've got well over a million gold on my main. There is no auto ban anything. Anyone that says otherwise is full of something. You can run two accounts on the same computer just as safe as running them on separate computers. It's all about not being a complete idiot, or more likely, just luck.
