I got 4/4 accs banned and all were on GB2 also, 2 in MoP zones and 2 in TBC zones (2x fresh SoRs). My bet is it's because of GB2 because a friend of mine was lvling 5 rafs at the same time using dungeonbuddy and none of his got banned.

Were you the one that posted on the US forums going insane that HB got you banned? Although that thread has now been deleted but I might have a screenie somewhere of it.

Well not really all but most of them, like 90 % .

Blizzard runs business after all, they are making big money with us botters too ;)

SoR = Scroll of Resurrection, you can buy these accs from chinese resellers for like $10-13, and with it you get a lvl80 char.
But i strongly advise to not buy it, since Blizzard hitting these account harder and faster. Plus if you get banned and appeal it is very likely that they will first require an ID which matches the original regitered name to the account.(not the Battle.net)

It is very rare that you can get back or reduce your ban to 72hrs on SoR accs. Plus they get banned more often.

It's not GB2 detection. Like I said, I used a different bot to farm herbs / ore and got all my accounts banned right after maintenance, they were all offline. I got most of them overturned to 72h, the ban is most likely an automated ban based either on data collected over a period of time or a server-side logic to determine how many hours / day and nodes / day you farmed.

That's exactly what I suspect as well.. They developed some clever algorithm to detect certain repetitive behaviour.
In that case, it doesn't matter whether you use GB2 for gathering or Questbot for your daily quests.

The flagging may be automated and hence those standard messages when your account has been closed.
It also may trigger a GM to monitor your character for a short while - botlike behaviour is very easy to detect.

In that case, even an appeal will be to no avail ..
