Yo, so after getting slapped to the face on 16.4, I bought new accounts and started over. Had a few issues there and there but made it to pandaria with full mining and herbalism and got banned again. 2 accounts made it to 88, one 87, 2 86 and the rest was 85,x%+ All of them got banned at around the same time, for the same reason This came as a shock to me because that's the last thing I would expect, the bots sold only what was gathered from 1-500 mining/herbalism (150-200 auctions max) So I appealed and got this reply; Code: *Thanks for getting on to us about this. * * * * I have looked into this for you, and it appears that your World of Warcraft account was recently merged to a battlenet account using a different owner's name than the account was created with. Due to this, we need to verify that you are the creator of the WoW account before the account will be unlocked. Which is basically gg as I have no way to prove that I am all those made up people I created My main account which I use to sell gold and trade supplies with is still undamaged, I'll try to buy a regular new account(s) and see if it lasts longer than one week. 1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? SoR accounts are getting banned very fast. I dont see why you are surprised about that. If you make more tickets at the end they will even delete the the wow lincense from your B.net. Happened me several times.
I was using my sor accounts for months before they were banned last week. Imo when it comes to banning, it doesn't even matter anymore whether it's a normal account or sor, of course it helps to get the account back if you're the original owner, but you're not guaranteed.
SoR ban. has nothing to do with botting. they are banning all SoRs merged into battlenets with different ID details. Reason is, they are still used by farmers without any botting, for scams, spamming chat, gold transfers etc. Probably the only way to use SoRs now is to know the name on the original accound and create a battlenet with the same details
