I was being a moron, to put it quite simply. I was botting around 9 hours per day and farming ore for just two days in a row. I did, however, post far too many auctions as I didn't realize that was one of the methods they used to keep track of botters. So, I'm here now asking for anyone who might know how to properly appeal to Blizzard about my ban. This is my main account that I've had for 8 years and I really don't want to lose it. I have FAR too much invested into it.

Also, please do not give me a spiel on how I should have botted properly or not used my main account for botting. I obviously understand now and have learned from my mistakes and don't need any bashing my brains in with the obvious.

I dearly thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide me with.

The likely hood of the situation is that you won't get this account back, sorry bro don't bot on the accounts you don't aren't willing to lose.

Just keep appealing, play stupid. I've had two permas taken down to 72 hours. They were SoR accounts too, so people probably won't believe me.
Regardless, just keep appealing and depending on the GM, you'll get it back. Call them if necessary and protest your innocence. Good luck!

"I don't know what happened! I went to bed last night and logged off and when I came home from lunch this morning I was banned!" ?

If I were you I would plead guilty. But then you can't bot on that account any longer. Most other attempts, this one included, probably won't succeed.

I plead guilty after realising that as it was my first offence if I was nice, polite and pointed out that this was indeed my first violation of this kind they would probably give me a slap on the wrist, and they did. They downgraded the sanction from a perma to a 72h. Goodluck.

You can mention that you have had the account for 8 years and have been a loyal subscriber for that duration. They will likely help you out due to the seniority. Admit that you heard about the bot and tried it out but it is obviously wrong and you will never do again.

Ticky, you can Google the appeals to Blizzard ban notices and perhaps get some ideas. I wish I could agree with "Boss" above that if you continue to appeal then you may eventually get it back. However, when I got banned for using Glider I tried that and it never did work for me. Evidently, it worked for our friend "Boss" but he's not giving you enough details to let you know what he said or how he appealed. There are a few things you could try if you knew what your bot was doing when you got banned. You need some more information before you can give the GMs a "reasonable lie." Otherwise, they may add a note to your name and address stating that you are a liar, and your chances will be greatly diminished for a successful appeal on any other account problems even if you start new accounts. Your appeal needs to be logical or else it is better off to simply move on and forget about the account.

      Coinz,
If you know why you were banned and you have a logical response, then keep looking for someone that will listen to you. 1. Use email, 2. Call them, 3. Open some trial accounts and keep opening tickets until you find a GM that will communicate with you. Act all hurt and desperate. Tell them your family is going to disown you because they have high standards against cheating. :) Tell them it's your birthday! :) (no, don't do that because they know your birthdate from your account info)

it was like 5 days after my bday lol

but they labeled it as a GM defraud even tho it wasnt. i got scammed on a gold sale and opened a ticket to get the gold back (talk about stupid) and all 3 responses were templates. hmm guess it doesnt hurt to keep trying.
