I know the Devs wont like that I come up with this question on their forums but I have to know, how many of you have been banned using buddywing? I found about it a couple a days ago, read some info and bought it yesterday...after using it 2 time that "excitement" effect ran off and I thought: "oh oh, I might be screwed! I didn't even remembered about the bans". I am not asking for refunds or anything, in fact I want to use the bot since I currently have little time to play and I could use an hand. So hows the ban situation on this bot? I would like some solid intel if an1 can provide it...I play since release, I got the Collector's Edition that was a gift from a cousin of mine, he gave it to me for Christmas at the release, with the box came a note that said: Its been years since I dont give you a gift christmas or birthday...I decided to return in style. So ye, this account got some personal meaning aswel. Thank you in advance.
Anything can get you banned. This is the risk you take when you use this bot or anything that breaks the TOS. There are tons of people who have used this bot and honor bot with no bans. Its all about using it at the correct times and hoping people will not report you. You have to be like a human and not play 24/7. Anything is detectable and its only a matter of time before they do a ban wave for Buddywing. You get 2 bans in SWTOR. First ban is 1 week long and second ban is account suspended indifferently. I have had a few accounts for other actions that were suspended (space botting, cheat engine, speed hacks, teleport hacks, scripts that work like bw) and I have gotten some back after they permanently banned them for their second offense. Others are in a far far away galaxy. I still have a few accounts that are active after second ban and are doing fantastic! That being said anything is possible and bans can be retracted also unlike in WOW. Bioware security is honestly a joke and I hope they are reading this. They have banned me before for the same offense twice and then tell me not to send them any more emails since they will not change the ban. Well of course I send them another email after and guess what, they unbanned the account. To top it off they gave me free game time for the missing days I was banned. Just play it smart and you should be okay for now my friend, but to remind you ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE! Walter
As long as you don't space bot, I haven't heard of anyone really getting banned. Worried about grinding? A lot of people grind to level in SWTOR since the quests get so repetitive and boring. Worried about quest botting? Some areas just suck and you die a lot. So does your bot. Sometimes your looking at your inventory and realize your running into a wall. So does your bot. The risk is always there, but you're far less likely to get banned here than on WoW.
We don't mind you asking this at all, it's only logical that you want to have information about it before purchasing. The risk is always there, but so far I've not heard of anyone getting banned for using anything other than the space bot (not our space bot, but others). It's never 100% safe, and you can get banned at any point for any reason - it's up to you if you're willing to risk it but all I can say is that at least for now, the bot isn't detected.
I've been banned a couple of times . " intention to sell " Most likely due to player reports. I;ve been banned only on high pop servers. On the low pop , i'm still going strong. I'm botting about 8-12h per day out of 20h . Why 8 out of 20? I can't watch them non-stop, and the bot keeps freezing on me.
I've never been banned and out of my friends and on the forums I've only heard about being banned when using space bots or speed hacks so as long as you don't use that or have the bot running all day every day for like a week or 2 you should be fine
My personal policy is I would never bot on anything that I wouldn't want to lose permanently. The risk isn't worth the reward.
