Set it to PVP (i'm hoping this enables the PVP rotation and I didn't need to be in arena/bg) and it was dumping necrotics like a boss............ Way more ITs, more BBs, and guess what - way more death runes and necrotics At one point, during cooldowns, it stacked over 600k in healing absorbs... Now don't go too crazy, because that gets reduced by resil, but wow it looks like a BEAST. Also, the dark transform and strangulate logics are good ideas and definitely worth death runes, will it still prioritize soul reaper? Soul Reaper also worth a death rune. Recount of 1 BG: Death Coil: 38 Blood Plauge: 83 Frost Fever: 108 Melee: 71 Necrotic Strike: 26 Soul Reaper: 14 Blood Boil: 21 Icy Touch: 20 Plague Strike: 16 Scourge Strike:10 Festering Strike: 3 (these were fine, as each time I believe they were from opening Plague or Outbreak, 1IT, 1BB and then Festering because there was 1 Blood and 1 Frost and no need to spread diseases or dispel - as I noted in a post a long time ago, there is a place for festers, they're just rare in actual PVP so this is working very well) 11-0 and 5.1 mil damage, where 2nd in damage was under 4mil. Not trying to imply too much here, as I'm likely significantly more geared than most random bg players - but I think it goes to illustrate that even though we've almost removed fester from our bars, im still top damage and thats without counting the heal absorbs from 26 necrotics... The real obvious take away is now the rune use is turning over runes and using them primarily as necrotics I believe the change will be even stronger in arena, where there are much less opponents to deal with spreading diseases (i think the plague strike use was so numerous because of the nature of 10v10). So yea - this would appear to be extremely strong in PVP now and will be even more valid in 5.3 (fester nerf, scourge strike buff). I don't know if there was an honest instance of that entire BG where I wanted to intervene the rotation... Wow.
Thank you for testing Reflex11, Soul Reaper is on top priority and consume Death Rune if needed. Let me tweak that Death Rune logic on Frost tonight and see how it work.
Just an clarify update. The PvP rotation automatically activated if you select Necrotic Strike Stack and Necrotic Strike Debuff. Basically Necrotic Strike is the pure PvP ability therefore if you enable it, CR assume you want PvP mode and use PvP Rotation. I'll work on Frost and Blood rotation tonight if I can. Frost a bit more tricky because you don't save all Death Rune for Necrotic. Sometime a guaranty crit Obliterate (have Killing Machine Proc) should use Death Rune. Blood I have no idea as I never arena with that spec. My friend toll me they killing time with 30 min 2v2 game in double Blood DK team at 1800 rating lol.

For some reason, unholy doesn't even use necrotics. Ever. In bgs and it never hits necrotic. I'm assuming that necrotics arn't available in the free version? :/
Check if the Checkboxes for Necrotic Strike are checked. If they aren't, check them. If they're grayed out Necrotics aren't available in the free version.
Tuan ur changes to frost are badass man for normal bgs and rated bgs. I have not done my duel box arena yet with my holy paladin. Bit I am sure that will work well to.
Does anybody know if its better to use Dual Weapon for 2H weapon for BG's Arena's etc etc. With the special edition?
This. In pve the only reason dw frost was any good in patch 5.0 and 5.1 was the fact that you would stack mastery and t14 had tons of cleave dmg fights. Well in 5.2 and soon to be 5.3, dw frost has fallen way down in dmg output due to the rotation relying on howling blast being one of its main spells and the nerf hb got to secondary targets(splash dmg). But dw frost has never been that good for pvp. It lacks the burst dmg you get from 2H frost and unholy sadly has more burst aswell.
In tge gui click the load button and load unholy pvp. Once done go to general tab and make sure movent and auto presence are turned on. If you have the break cc trinket make sure to enable it also in thd general tab for which trinket slot it is in and set to loss control. If you also use the ultimate pvp addon make sure to turn targeting to off otherwise turn it on.
It's updated and base on my test, Unholy doing more DPS than Frost. WoL also show Unholy is the best dps spec for raiding, not Frost DW in current patch 5.2
