Is one benefit of GB and HB auth that if there is a new patch or change with Warden the AUTH servers won't let me log in to my account to protect it? I've tried reading about safety mechanisms which are used to protect the accounts but I couldn't find any details. Could someone please explain this?
yes there is a warden protection and if a security reason appear auth server will disconnect your Gb/Hb
And this is to prevent detection through software detection? This is what worries me the most. WOW detects that I have the software running. How can WOW.exe and warden not just do a process scan and see HB? It seems like it would be really easy to detect? What are the thoughts on this? Obviously if yuo are irresponsible 24/7 botter, detection can be done through statistics, but what about software detection? What makes HN invulnerable?
what you have to do is rename HB / GB to sumthing different ... theres a list on the web of really .exe that your computer uses... but dosnt get used unless you activate it. this therefor hides it to normal scans and is less detectible
I never used Glider, but I thought it randomly changed the executable name for the running process. I'm worried about a massive banhammar for software detection. Thats all.
Also, Are bans retrospective over a long time? Like if I want to turn a botting account into a good account... how long should I stop botting before It will be a good account? For example I want to do some botting, and then do 5x character transfers from my other 5 accounts. I obviously only want to do this transfer when I know that I won't get banned for botting... Do you get hit with a ban stick within 24 hours? Or how do you think it works?
In my opinion, nobody really knows for sure. and those few people who do know how it works - don't talk about it here on the forum.
