Just make up a story say you were farming for something you really want. I dunno unless they detected the software (which they didn't) they can't be 100% sure you were botting = )

How old was your account. I really think that this should be a question too, and the /played of the character.

How can you tell btw gimik that it wasn't software detection? Surely if it was software detection there would be a ban wave.

It seems to me that the bans happen more frequently on US servers than EU servers. Anyone else agree with this? How long is the wait time to talk to a GM on a US server?

      Bias POV is Bias.

I would strongly argue that there are more US botters, hence, more US bans.

8hrs per day farm with only 5 auctions per day. Next time reduce the hours and post more auctions, also add little breaks within your botting schedule.

I bot twice that long usually without any auctions (i've been botting to gear up my DK) and no ban... I'd say it's just bad luck man, maybe someone reported you for botting and a GM checked.

it`s report no auctions or hours per day can save you from it
3-5 ppl from 1 guild who want to ban you easily now can do this

Well the account is 4 years old, I have 5 80's on it 4 of them were hand lvl'ed. No prior suspensions, I called and disputed, customer service put in a dispute ticket. I got the email today that significant evidence was found that I was using a cheat program and therefore the ban would not be lifted.

In response to guild mates reporting me, I am the guild leader and guild only has RL friends in it who also bot so seems unlikely. Guess i'll just have to start over.

Thats a shame. I have to say that if I ever had more than 2 80s I wouldn't bot. I would only bot on a second account.
I've had about 5 accounts banned on different games for using botting programs, if this is your first its a good lesson to learn.
With hindsight, would you have only botted on a second account, its a risk versus price scenario! I'd rather pay the $$$ than take the risk, and only run a single bot at any one time. Or multiple bots, but never play on your main at the same time as botting. At least this is what I have learnt.

if you want to PLAY you main and NEVER lost it-just play!
make 2nd accaount and bot with it-and you never risk you main in this way

Do you think if you bot on a laptop, and play on a PC you can keep your risk of banning on your computer to ZERO PERCENT?
