They phone support guys can not make a decision about an appeal and there is no phone support for the GMs who do, but I was told that their automated system banned me and not a GM specifically. I guess be wary of using Gatherbuddy/Spliid's profile?** U**Update: After an appeal with a default response of "I was not botting" I am unbanned now. No suspension.**
Damn... I wouldn't use Honorbuddy for farming ore or herbs... It just results in a ban lol How long had you been botting for?
I appealed the ban and I will call Blizzard later today. Has anyone here had a successful appeal story?

I was perm banned a few months back and appealed. The first appeal they said No, and that they were going to stick with their initial ruling. I appealed again as soon as the support ticket was closed by clicking "this issue is not resolved" (or similar) on the webpage. Basically telling them that with all the automated messages they send, it doesnt make sense as to why i was banned.. then I told them nonsense like "I agree people who bot need to be banned, but the process you do it in doesnt make any sense" ... you know.. the things they want to hear.. (Not sure this will work, but it did for me) .. another GM actually reversed the perm ban with a resolution of possible account compromised.. That ban was from botting about 12 hours a day on public profiles, with a couple hundred auctions, as well as shuffling herbs into scribe shoulder enchants to sell to vendor.. it was clearly obvious to them that I was botting, but I guess it just depends on who is reviewing the support ticket, and the type of day they are having... ^all this was done on ONE account.
Its not the bots fault, the bot does the job, it farms for you while you go to the gym or take a nap, the problem is people reporting you, even if you bot only for 3-4 hours per day, theres allways the chance that a jelly player who doesnt bot but knows the bot behaviors will report you (it helps if you happen to be near the pc and say something to him, like fuck you i win or "insert clever comment" here), and reports are the main reason for ban issues, hell, even botters report botters, ive seen some people posting in these same forums braggin about how they reported a fellow botter, laughin about it, just to get their license banned for doing such abomination
I was banned in beginning of MoP on one of my accounts and I said that I was herbing and farming a lot for raids and then I suddenly get banned and got confused and had no idea of what happened or why it happened, worked for me.
