anyone still gathering after ban(s)?

i was banned a couple weeks ago and im paranoid to use gatherbuddy again, but ive been using other bases with success; except now im rarely afk if i do use them, and now i want to get back to gathering.

has anyone been using gatherbuddy despite threats or bans?

 

Ofcourse people have been using gb2 not all actually even look at the forums but seriously there was always a risk of a ban.

I got banned like a week ago+ ago for botting 8 hours a day perm ban not returned was a private profile aswell only lasted about a week.


I'd say using gb2 you're likely gonna be banned after a while but that's the risk you take using a bot you could get banned aswell doing questing although that's unlikely.

 

Not at the moment. 3/4 of my farmers banned. Just checking and figuring out what to do for gold making now.

 

my account has got a ban because i sold gold. my stupid... (it was 1 year ago). today i bot on same account with HB (questing). if they catch me I'm banned forever. (i think^^)

 

i stoped for a bit but i am starting up again made a extra druid account and i am trying out the random profile maker that was made so far so good

 

It's very easy to see on my servers at least, that pretty much all of the botters have stopped farming just by looking at the quantity of mats up currently and the price.

 

be very careful if your going to be farming with gb, im still trying to find a way to get away with it, ive had 4 accounts banned within the past month testing different ways. ive tried switching out from 2 accounts botting 5-8 hours a day on each with different profiles all of which i have created myself that cover at least 2 zones if not all of pandaria, i didnt get reported because my accounts were both new accounts never 72 hour banned just streight to closed accounts within about 3 days of echother so it wasnt from people reporting me. ive tried doing other stuff becides nothing but gb like pvp, questing and things liek that but still banned, also had random and bounce hotspots to avoid an identical path the whole time. i have a plan to try the next one but it wont be nearly as much profit as just farming but if it works out ill let ya know!

 

RAF SOR or regular paid?

 

I have no suggestion for those trying to mass farm material for profit, however; I have used GB2 regularly for the last few months without ban. I use the bot simply to pay for full enchants, etc on a character. I generally only bot 1-2 hours at a time, sometimes twice a day and list most of the material on the AH. I have easily made over 50,000 gold without much risk or time invested.

 

i got a perma bad about 3 weeks ago it was changed back to a 72 hr and soon as that was up i was strait back to botting i dont really care about it thats why i carried on but there is allways a risk

 

Still gathering a bit on my main account (my only account) but it is very limited ( around 2 hours each day). I just need enough to cover the cost of enchanting/repairing/other stuff.

 

why so greedy dudes?

Its not a matter of greed, some ppl use HB & wow as income like me, and 2 hours per day isnt gonan cut it, best to bot for 10hrs a day with random profiles being switched out every 1 hour.

 

Drogo are you actually botting with GB2 right now?

Seems even when I use it only 6h a day, boom I get a ban .

You're probably US though, I believe it's easier to bot on us-realms.

 

Until the dev's can circumvent the whole waypoint detection problems, not just with HB but all bots, it will be unprofitable to bot for income. IMO

So til then, get a job.

 

This might be a bit OT but what is RAF? I know SOR is Scroll of Resurrection.

Got to love posts like this. Like Drogo says it is more about money for a lot of people. If you look around, people have stopped playing the game on this forum and it is about the money in accounts or gold.Not love of the game.

 

making money, for 3 years

I have 250k Gold on my main from farming myself and selling on AH, Making bags and items that sell on AH.
I use remote AH on smart phone take a min to check prices of stuff most people use and buy low sell high. Farmers are killing me on AH.
But lately items like volatile Life water fire and even life have been going up.
I just buy low wait until price goes up, sometimes 1 month or so gut they do go back up and then sell.
If we could get rid of the Chinese farmers we would be ok, they are the problem because there are soooooo many of them we cant profit from farming a few hours a day.
If you need more gold than you can farm, via bot in a same time per day stop botting. I have just learned about these things availability and started using while at my computer.
I have too much time and effort grinding my toons to lose them to botting so I use it in combat mode only so far.

KEEP US SAFE= Only bot farm a few hours a day Blizzard will focus more else where if they think the number of bots went down, if not all botting will be extinguished.

Oh I use combat bot because I type slow and don't play enough to keep up with those blazing fast players.

 

just getting my 8 hour hauls set up in ah. with all the people screaming for bans now they have no ore no herbs. they will have to back off the bans soon before they fuck up their own servers lol.
