So I am not planning to sell gold nor to amass million of golds. I just want enough to use for myself and my alts. I have one lvl 90 and leveling another one now using Kick. What can I do safely to get a bit of extra gold with very low chance of getting banned? thank you
Savium42, Best way to make gold is probably gather ghost iron ore / golden lotus (if you have mining/Herb) then smelt ghost iron ores to bars -> use alchemy to make trillium bars -> sell in ah / trade. I did this and I did really good money. I bought gears for my alts (enchants etc). Bought gear for my friends, donated ppl etc. Then the game felt boring. I went like "I dont care if they ban me.. this game is so boring" I feel like that now too. But I have no better game to play. farm/bot 4hrs a day max. Think your botting is like job in real life. What I mean is dont think "I wanna everything right now". Make like 20k-30k money and stop doing gold anymore. Or do once/twice in a week. Dont sell same things in AH. and the best advice is.. DONT GET GREEDY! Only reason why I started botting was because in start of the expansion I didnt have money for flyings/dancing steel/jade spirit enchants... I did dungeon farming and that wasnt quick enough.. also I bought gold and that was really expensive... considering you can get 30k gold in few days if you HC. I hope you got some tips here.
Hi thanks for the tip. So basically your recommendation is to get 1 toon to mine and herb 1 toon to alch Produce bars and sell for gold. Is that right?
This is what I do: I farm bot for 8-12 hours a day, roughly 5 days a week. 4-6 hours over night, then 1-2 hour break. Then 4-6 hours in the morning/early afternoon. Never in late afternoon/early evening (aka peek hours). And no botting on patch/update days (tuesday). I usually give it a break on Saturdays as well cuz its a busy play day most the time on my server. I NEVER bot for more than 12 hours a day, and some weeks I'll shut it all down for Sat and Sun just to act like a real person, and tbh I'm rich now and dont have to be consistent. On my main acct I have 5 alchemist. So I make tons of ghost iron bars, do the whole mail/gb/mail/gb to my main acct. Then I transmute it all to trillium. I sell trillium bars for roughly 50g each and transmute living steel bars daily. They sell for roughly 500g each and with 5 alchemist (4 transmute masters) I get a stack of 20 every 4 days tops, but mostly 3 days do to procs. Flasks are good money too. I kinda rotate. When I start slightly flooding the trillium market (noticing the bar price is dropping to 35g - 40g per bar range) I switch and make flasks. And back and forth. I'll make 1-2 bank toons and lvl them to 15-20 every month. This makes it so my name is never remembered in the AH, and if it is, he's gone within a few weeks anyways. I lvl them a bit just cuz ppl hate when a lvl 1 is putting up 4 stacks of trill, 2 stacks of living, and 2 stacks of each flask every couple of days. I've never had an issuse with Blizz doing this but if I did I figure I could just claim they are twinks and I delete and redo them at lvl 20 (I BG buddy from 10-20 anyways). If you have a jc and/or enchanter there is profit there as well. Just on my server jems go up and down in price faster than a schizophrenia hooker and I find I make better/faster profit from my main routine. But if I get overloaded with ghost iron ore I won't hesitate to prospect it. To be honest I make 5k - 10k a day easily. I feel its a nice spot to be and I stay under the radar good. Every few weeks I get a little over stacked on mats and do an AH bomb and make 20k - 30k but don't like/need to do it daily. I feel pretty safe doing this and have never had any issues in the last 3 months of solid botting or the 2 months I did it at the start of MoP (took a break due to having a baby). Hope this helps ya! PS - I never thought my bot account would last as long as it has. And at this point I think it will last a lot longer. Therefore, I and going to start taking a night and running BGbuddy and/or dungeonBuddy to get my farmer some achievement points so it looks a little more human. If you are truly trying to play it safe then I would recommend you do the same.
problem is, most people do herb and ores... I recently put like 50 stacks of ores on the AH and only got 1,000~ gold

Well I guess you can take my advice with a grain of salt... I just received my 1st ban yesterday. I did appeal and had it switched to a 72 hour suspension though. I still feel the way I bot it safe. I was going a bit overboard the last few days before the ban and was using public profiles. My main account was unharmed in the ban so that is good. I learned from this ban that less is more. I will continue botting but will drop my farming for 8-12 hours, 5 days a week, to 4-6 hours, 3-4 days a week, and make my our private profiles. I will be adding some dungeons and dailies to make it look more human as well.
ore is 80g a stack on my server ^_^. i have hard time deciding if i wanna shuffle or just sell the ore lol.
